Although do not agree with such, but if it's stated as a rule, then it's not wrong.

And that´s the point. It´s no rule, it is just a problem with the game mechanics. The game should save the result somehow (I don´t know anything about coding) no matter if you close the tab, but as long as it does not at least it is my opinion that exploiting this weakness should result in a ban.

It´s not like there are important ranklists that would be corrupted by this, but still I think it is kind of cheating even if it´s only for (lol) bragging rights. Anyway, statistics are not that important to me to argue much further about this, I just wanted to make clear that I find it good when someone warns about the dangers and how to avoid them.

Amen to both your posts, I won´t let the fact bug me. And as long as it is hard enough to cheat to keep what I call casual cheaters away and those who actually made it keep getting banned (at least I have the feeling that the protection is pretty decent around) I will keep having fun. Besides, the community around is so nice I would not let some jerks drive me off!

Just had this happen to me... no screenshot as I wasn't really sure what was going on.  Is this a bug or something somebody has hacked or a program run in the background to abuse PvP??

If it was a hack then I believe it would be the same person in all these reports, which I doubt it is.

Sounds very weird, LITHE. From the looks of the screenshot, maybe the countdown timer did not recognise he had left, and instead, counted your timer down instead, but you didn't notice it and thought it was still his turn? Weird things happen in ETG.

the internet connection is not the problem.
when i started elements i used to turn off my internet so a CPU played instead of a human. CPU's are easier to defeat. after CPU started playing i turned on my internet connection.
and you dont need a connection for elements, only for logging in and starting pvp/arena. you can log in at home, take your laptop to the woods and play there for a while against AI3/FG, but keep your window opened!, otherwise it wont save , you need internet to save your update

dont you have people that disconnect quite a lot? i did not do this deliberately. but playing offline i do when the internet is out, i have my elements logged in (allmost) all the time.
Why can't i admit that i did this i few times? but the game is still the game, cards don't change, no extra turns.
