Why can you have a positive NT counter that heals you? I don't think its an intended behaviour, that's why i consider it a bug.

Purify neutralises poison, THEN gives you regeneration counters. The 'remove poison' is not corelated to purify counters.

Imagine you were, irl, bitten by a scorpion, then given something that cures the poison then gives you enormous vitality. If you were bitten again, there's nothing to stop the poison, but unless the bite is sufficient, you still have some bonus vitality.

I tried both the case in which 0 Neuro counters are achieved by drawing a card after +1 (which results in the graphical bug of no counter showing, but damage applying) and the case of applying Neuro twice after Purify (making a perfectly fine 0 Neuro counter) but have not been able to recreate said bug. I might have ran into something similar before but didn't get screens (nor remember whether damage was applied after all).

Definitely a bugged interaction. No SSes, but various scenarios while playing SPlat:

a) Played Neuro, he purifies (+2 blue). I hit him next turn with one dune scorp (+1 yellow). He plays a card, counter disappears. He plays another few cards, still no counter. Next turn, I hit him again, and neuro counter shows up at 5.

b) Played Neuro, he purifies (+2 blue). Next turn, scorp hits (+1 yellow). He plays nothing, but congeals my scorp with octopus. Turn ends. I do nothing, turn ends. He plays cards, no effect on neuro.
Years ago we had Ronald Reagan, Johnny Cash, Bob Hope, and Steve Jobs. Now we have Obama, no hope, no cash, and no jobs.

I am just encontered neurotoxin bug on myself. Strange thing.

1. Computer hit me with Dune Scorpion with Momentum. I got 1 neuro.
2. I played upgraded Purify. I got +1, but it's yellow! (So, Purify cannot remove Neurotoxin, right? :/
3. I played another card, and counter is removed altogether. No neurotoxin, no purify.
4. Several turns with my cards passed. No any effect.
5. Computer repeated trick with Scorpion+Momentum. Oops, I got my Neuro hit back - and it is +4 already.

So conclusion:

1. Purify doesn't remove Neurotoxin. Is it works as intended?

2. But Purify still _neutralizes_ Neuro - if summary counter for Purify-Neuro achieved 0.

3. Counter still here, and activates again with any new Neurotoxin hit.

Isn't Purify neutralizing neurotoxin the intended effect? It seems implied by the bug description that the opposite is true (neurotoxin should stay after purify). Strange things definitely happen, but I thought purify (if there wasn't a bug) removed the neurotoxin effect?

Yes, and that's not the bug.

[...]it took no Neurotoxin damage or effect while the first Dune was hitting. I had to play a new Dune for the counters to return, and they did so at 4 counters, as if the previous counters were applied retroactively. It's not until this point that the AI starts taking damage from Neuro again.
Whereas the Neurotoxin effect was actually still in place, adding more and more invisible counters as the AI played cards. That's why the counters returned at 4 and not 0 when I hit it with a new Dune.
