If you are in pvp duel and you kill a pheonix using two separate forms of CC in one turn, your opponent only sees it as using one, and you lose both forms of CC (ash remains on field). Happened to me twice in a game vs. rem4life. First time was with rage pot and firebolt, second time was with rage pot and the red nymphs ability (also rage pot).

restarting twice cost me a match..
i second that, only 1 form of cc was seen, ash remained on field

if it wasn't Laxa, would've asked to go somewhere with the restart:)

Although I have definitely seen this happen in a tournament before once, all efforts to recreate it in a duel with my alt account led to failure. I swear I tried every way to kill them but they stayed dead, both upgraded and unupgraded. If someone could bring pics and determine what triggers the ashes to stay that'd be nice :p

Just went and checked the thread where I posted the result, as well as the pm in which I sent majofa my decks. No screenies. Probably because I wasn't expecting it to happen.
