Congratulations to  Team Disc770nion!

I realise this was a complex competition, and I am very happy with the quality and quantity of submissions. While there were only 4 submissions, that represents 9 members, which is a good number for a competition.

We try to vary the content, workload and focus of our competitions, and while few people voted, from what I have heard, the teams who took part enjoyed the challenge, and created some wonderfully creative works. The current competition is designed to be a light relief - although I think in some ways it's as difficult to make submissions funny as it is to make long, complicated submissions!

I think it would be sad to always simplify competitions simply to temp more votes, but, as I say, we will always aim to keep our competitions varied, to provide something to challenge and appeal to as many people as possible. We are unlikely to run such an in depth competition again in the near future.

I think awarding an icon to 33% of the participants is too much.

Compare this to PvP Events, which award an icon to 3-6% of the participants, in addition to being a much larger time commitment.

Really, I should've awarded an icon to everybody in Trenzalore who made it to Round 5.

I do understand that sentiment, and truthfully this was probably a little soon after the last Team Comp.

I would say that it would be a shame to simply not make Team Competitions just because more than one person would have to win an award though. Having one once in a while is I think a benefit, because working on something creative as a team is something I and many other members really enjoy. It's not quite the same as Team PvP, because it requires more creative conversation and thought, outside of Gameplay.

I think making team competitions where it's easy for many teams to join is a good solution too. Some card creation competitions done in pairs in the past are good examples.
