Who cares what element I am the master of? This competition has nothing to do with that. I am the master of Entropy, but I'm not too shabby with the other elements either.  ;)

It goes without saying that all Masters will represent their own elements in this competition. Abandoning your own element and switching sides is not cool.

So in real life if someone attacks your country, do you use "free choice" and fight for the enemy?

Masters are supposed to be the representatives of their chosen elements. Switching sides at a time of war is wrong on many different levels. Keep in mind that how a Master did his/her job as a Master will have an effect when other players try to take his/her title away, so helping the enemy might not be the smartest thing to do.

Besides, this is not a 100% mono-deck event so players have more options in deck building.

Well I guess it should have been more clear in the "job description" that we are required to represent our element 100% of the time in every single competition. Since this is a PvP competition, I assumed I had a choice, because I am not limited in the weekly tournaments. Now that it is more clear... I change to the Bad GuysTM

That is simply not correct. This is the second event in the history of this community where a Master title limits your choices. I wouldn't call that 100%.

I do understand if a person doesn't want to limit his choices when it comes to events like this one. In this case they can easily step down and give the job to someone who doesn't mind that. Nobody is forcing anyone to be a Master.

What I'm looking from Masters is that they really try to promote their own element and show why it is the best one, not switch sides when they feel like it.
