Now that I checked the original thread, I found a submission by twinsbuster that might be even more 100% effective than this one (and though more boring)
Actually that one isnt 100 percent, since there were 28 quantum pillars which means it would be possible for the eternity + photon one to do enough damage before drawing an explosion/steal. QuantumT's decks literally are 100 percent, even in the most optimal scenario for any of them.
Technically, the quantum towers could decide to hate you as well.

While thats true, I'd have to say the odds of 28 quantum pillars (84 total quanta) not averaging to make 3 time quanta per turn would be pretty low, especially considering they'd have the whole game to generate quanta before that, and would presumably have time mark (though he didnt have marks which was why his deck isnt included I believe) :P. Not that any of that matters since its not even in the competition... lol.

Contrary to earlier information, the winning decks will not be used in a weekly PvP tournament.

I'm pretty sure that everyone here knows why forcing players to use a deck with nothing but 32 Pillars is a very bad idea.

If someone wants to test these out, feel free to do so in an unofficial fun PvP event, although I personally don't know how much fun you will be having because everyone knows the winner before the duels even start.
To be fair, it's only after the duel starts that you know.
The point is that you don't actually have to fight those battles at all. If you took paper and your opponent took scissors, you will lose. Not much fun in that because we might as well throw dice to get it over faster.

That was unexpected.  Kdz said official tournament, and I thought the TO's chose the tournaments, so I thought it would be one.

Thus, yes, #1 is as Rock-Paper-Scissors as you can get.
As a forum admin, it is my job to step in when I see a major problem. Had we used these decks for a weekly tournament, it would have been the worst tournament in the history of this community, 100% guaranteed.

I think the problem here is that no matter how you cut it, the competition ultimately asked for 3 decks; decks where one that "reliably" beats one and loses to the other. Even if the winning one wasn't Q's, you would still have the same situation, just with a slightly better chance of not losing as fast. Where Q's deck is like bringing a penknife to a gun fight, all the other submissions would just upgrade the penknife to a machete. In the end, you still have a knife in a gunfight, just a bigger knife.

Interesting :-\
Maybe the point was making the deck with some strategy needed in it, so as to make it worth fighting, but IDK

The other issue it would have, and one that couldn't really be avoided, is that rock could beat paper if it started bouncing its photon immediately. This would be an issue no matter what the relative deck sizes were, and is why I didn't use eternity.

Edit: I suppose since there isn't going to be a tournament, people don't have to worry about voting for me anymore righ?  ;)

32 pt lead... I laugh at anyone who thinks this is still a competition. I REALLY doubt anyone can pull 33 votes out of their... well.. you get the idea.
