I know one of the characters in the last story. It has something to do with a pony and a king.

Simon's Story by Hobnob5000

A bit short but as long as the content's there it's fine. the ending was extremely obvious but I can't see why all the nymphs would decide to help out and why did they kill the Pharaoh as he'd done nothing wrong. I have no idea why the light nymph was so sympathetic, it surely should've seen other creatures be attacked and done nothing (circle of life) also I can see why simon fell in love (or whatever) but why did the nymph? But the ending (last line) was great.
Yes, the ending was obvious. Aren't all Romances obvious? :P

As for your other points, I spose I needed it to have some basis of a plot. That and I suck at writing.

The last line was just for you :P

Also, when does voting end?

Come on, guys, lighten up!  This isn't a measure of writing skill.  Voting is based on what people like.  There also aren't very many votes... for all you know, it's because someone has a beloved relative named Simon.  :D

Wow.  Surprisingly few people have voted.
the amount of reading involved in voting deters voters. I'm debating reading all this or going to work out right now

I half-read/half-skimmed them all, and like Gl1tch's the most by far. It looks like he put the most effort into his, spell-checking and editing it, and I just like it. Well-written, interesting, but most of all, I was grinning like a maniac at the (possibly unintentional :S) reference to "Major Tom" by David Bowie (I like Shiny Toy Gun's cover too). I gtg for now, but I"ll read Gl1tch's in full and the rest and decide which other one I"ll vote for ;)

Gah, I know. >.< I guess I got all caught up in the moment of being an 'aspiring' writer, which sucked the fun out of it, and got depressed after realizing that my story was probably too long... oh well. :P Thanks for the support.

Anyway, all of the stories do have their own cute/dramatic/amazing/epic/intricate flairs to them, so I can't say that any of the stories suck.

I'm choosing to abstain from this vote.
I liked none of the candidates as Elements stories or even as just stories.
Sorry People.
