lol at lava golem's 'I make t50 easy'

I think flavor text should be somewhat humorous or somewhat with deep-meaning sentences.
Some card like Mindgate, Nymphs, Forest spirit,Blessing or so should have a phylosophical-like sentence(because of images)
Some card like Dragons, Frog ,Explosion fit well with irony and puns

Add a pool for every card in his section with flavor text options; so everyone can choose what text prefer.

Only voted for 8 and 16 as those were quite fitting, i honestly prefer the cards without these taglines if they're gonna be stuff like 'also known as the haxx shield' or making references to the top50...

Similar to what Silux said, I think a mix of humorous and serious flavor text is acceptable.
I prefer mostly "serious" text that hopefully stirs the imagination and makes you consider the card in a new light, but it's fun to have a sprinkling of humorous cards. Humorous cards are going to tend to win the majority of polls though.

In general, yes, but an occasional touch of humor doesn't have to break the feel. I think the Skeleton from entry #16 is a good example. It's lighthearted, but it derives it's humor not from some outside reference, but from the idea that an opponent might overlook the skele thinking it was just a corpse.

I see quite a few of these entries have originality issues in this competition, seriously, there's like 4 entries that have the word "screw" in it.
and somebody partially copied my entry agenda, thats not cool at all, seriously  .

anways, i loled at entry 8, it had some pretty funny quotes from movies, I like how they were implemented into those particular cards

Question: Is #4 an acceptable submission? I don't mean to be rude/ill-willed, but none of those cards came with the image packet in the original post. I thought we were only allowed to use those cards in the packet because they were the only ones that had room for flavor text (otherwise, I would have used some other cards & text).
