Sigh. I blame the new card creator. It leaves you so little space compared to the older ones! Either way it was tough to explain in such a small space, I guess I didn't do it well enough. So here is a brief explanation:

Duel 10 -- SunnyGreens -- "Iridescence"

You play the card and target a creature. For that turn and that turn only, whenever you spend a light quanta, you gain a free quanta of whatever type the creature you targeted was. So lets say you target a Crimson Dragon (a fire creature) with the Iridescence spell, and then you play a Pegasus card. The Pegasus costs 4 :light, so Iridescence would give you 4 :fire (since you targeted a fire creature). There is a cap on this spell of 10 quanta gained this way to avoid abuse. If you use Iridescence on a Light creature, it does not grant you free light quanta since this could also be abused. Instead, if you target a Light creature you will be given random quanta types.




Oh, and just in case...

Iridescence (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iridescence):
Iridescence (also known as goniochromism) is generally known as the property of certain surfaces which appear to change color as the angle of view or the angle of illuminaton changes. Iridescence is commonly seen in items such as soap bubbles, butterfly wings, and sea shells.
Sure wish you put this under your submission; this is a very interesting concept which helps give Light's role as a mass quanta generator to other elements for a turn, best wishes!

This is an idea that seriously needs to be in-game. Not a big card nor a small one.
u mean in duel 10? since in duel 5 there are TheIdioticIdiot and Isei.

Ok, let me explain.
You have 7 creatures at the middle of the field, and 2 at the upper and lower field. Those creatures goes to a random position on the field - same effect happend to the opponents field. This can be combined with flooding, bonewall (well, not so smart) etc.
War #3 - Life || War #4 - Death || War #5, #6, #7, #9, #13, #14 - Time || War #8, #12 - Air

The hardest decisions I ever had to make were which luck-based card I hated more.

Some pretty cool designs, though.

I believe you meant to say 'War', instead of 'competition', no? ^^;;; Dragoon1140, vrt, Kamietsu, Yoyobro, Purity_Riot, and previous Competition Organizers have made several competitions without actual blood shed involved. ;) (See all the art, video, and other competitions for example)

Next time, can you put the entire duel into one spoiler instead of two?
Definitely. I've been getting suggestions at putting ALL of the duels within one spoiler, but that might not be as organized...




On that note folks, if you'd like to change your 'comments' after the card, please send me a P.M. with what you want to change, and I'll do it for you, but ONLY this time. The next round, I'll be editing the table code formatting so that there will be an area where you can add additional notes, but I won't make edits to those notes once that voting phase for that round starts.

dont worry, geekz_always_win has slightly out of balance card (and looks like upped phoenix, just unkillable), im sure u can make it to next round.

BTW, try not to make simple % cards effects, they are too common.

Voting on some of these was almost heartbreaking. I came *this close to voting against myself, then realized how OP rohlfo's card is. Quite honestly, a few of these matches were really close and killed me to vote for one and not the other. Good luck to all contestants.

I voted by 3 categories:
1. Uniqueness- how unique is this card?
2. Balance- Is it balanced enough so that zanz could put it in the game? Balance is the mark of an awesome cardmaker.
3. Fun- if it was in the game, would it be fun to play against?

some are indeed really tough, I've still not voted on all, and might not be able to!

In response to mine being OP, I did worry about this, but I balaced if off the only card in the game to do something similar, black hole. It "burns" up to 36 quanta, and heals you for up to 36HP....now mine does only 10 burn (but more concentrated) and no heal.... Plus Sanctuary is in the game now...

imo, ur card is more OP...
low summon cost
super ability (it's like a pulvy that costs less...)
and with the 0 cost, the upgraded one has great synergies with immo/cremation
low hp and no attack?
light has an in-element buff
