I'm dropping from the contest since it took way too long to do the card in the first place, and I'm not a big fan of doing things twice.

That's why you always back-up your work.

There were some interesting shield Ideas here. Very very few which I thought would be able to offer anything to the game though. I hope the ones I picked win

Lol with all the hassle with the forum I forgot to change my shield entry or find out if I could have two but the Templar shield is still the better of the two I think

Looks like I'm doing marginally well, but Retribution is would be a very useful shield.  It's a way to deal 10% or 20% of your enemy's HP (depending on who you're playing) and provides small protection as well.  It can charge up over time, or be used especially to punish swarm decks, which would charge up the shield fairly quickly.  Good for when you need burst damage.  It's also useful when you're behind in the game and need to do some damage while you wait for your creatures to show up.  Vote for it now!

My guess is that it's overpowered, Coinich. Even a slowly poisoning deck chock full of this and pillars could win. It's a good idea, though.

Energy Field is currently 4th. I believe that it will really help with game dynamics. As of right now, Sparks are not used very often, but my card can use Sparks to your advantage.
