Vote: Design a Competition

[Glitch]

The "Misc" competition (create a deck aimed to lose) was what caught my attention first, to be honest.  I know that the idea has been suggested before (not as a competition, but as a special tourney) -- and I really think that this could be a lot of fun. 

Both instances were suggested by me.  This was intended as a special tourney, as the "other" category didn't specify it couldn't be such a thing.

Haha, I kind of had that feeling, but I wasn't 100% sure. 

Suffice to say, I like the idea very much.

With an hour left I had a one vote lead, 13-12 but I thought no, I won't cheat.  I won't say anything.  I COULD have removed my vote from his, but I didn't.

Sometime within that hour, someone removed their vote from mine to his.

I did remove my vote from yours to tie things up at 12-12, and then did some last minute stumping in the chat-room and someone gave me the winning vote.  If you really want to call foul, we could have a runoff, but it is legal.

So let me get this straight.. you voted for your "enemy" and didn't change your vote even though it's perfectly legal?

I think you learned an important lesson today.

Only "cheating" that went on in this competition was the fact that #6 came up with the "Elements photo in real-life" idea and others copied it. That idea is clearly unique enough so that all other "Elements photo in real-life" ideas can be considered plagiarism even if the specifics are different.

Unfortunately I didn't mention anything about this in the rules so it was legal.

Yeah, I don't mind much because it was a good idea. Other's just took that idea nd rolled with it to make it their own. In the end, the best grouping won

The moral thing to do was to vote for whoever you liked best.
