A Matter of Logistics
The TaskWar is coming, and as the Senior Logisticians of the Twelfth Legion, the
, it is your task to ensure that the dragons are fed, the weapons are animated, and the otyughs don't eat everything else in the camp (unless you order them to, but what kind of a war strategy is that?). From quanta-hungry spellslingers to quanta-sucking pests, all matters of supply are your responsibility. Will your legion be ready for the war?
- Join a legion!
- A legion consists of an agreed upon name, 2-3 people, and between 1 and 3 decks.
- Form a team of either 2 or 3 people, pick a name for your Legion, and create between 1 and 3 decks!
- The decks that you create represent the body of your Legion. Make sure that every facet of your army is represented!
- Then, tell us about how you manage your army! Some things you could mention:
- How do you supply them all with food, and where do you get it from?
- Do you have any creatures that are particularly difficult to contain when not in battle?
- How do you keep morale up?
- How do you transport them all from battle to battle?
- What sorts of crazy bureaucratic forms do you need to fill out to get anything done?
- Do you need any strange, exotic resources that can't be found anywhere normal?
- Do you need any special reagents or "herbs" to enhance your Legion's power?
- Uniforms! Regulations! Taxes!
- Try to come up with the most imaginative and unusual things to talk about!
- One submission per team, to be posted in a spoiler in a single post in this thread. Make the title of the spoiler your Legion's name.
The Deckbuilding and Writing components of this competition will be voted on separately. At the end of the voting period, the total votes from both polls will be added up, and whichever team accrued the most votes will be crowned the winner.
