Story Title: From The 13 Chronicles of the Oracle: Chapter 7 The Origin of the Nymphs and the Rise of Scorpio

Before the Oracle became the mysterious, obese soothsayer he is today, he was a very thin orphan who had always failed at being an elemental. He was always at the bottom of the chosen groups, and his decks were always defeated because he could not get the electrum to buy powerful enough summoning cards. He had only one friend, a Water Elemental, Kia, who was supposedly the strongest elemental in the chosen groups for 5 years. Although this earned the respect of many, this also caused her to gain many enemies, especially Scorpio, an Elemental Adept of water, poison, and earth*. Scorpio's hate was so strong that he tried to infuse his hate into a pair of short swords to prevent him from hurting anyone, but in process, his respect for Kia also broke off and infused itself into one of the swords. One sword transformed into a dark weapon, splitting it's blade in half and began to drip with a deadly venom, while the other lengthened and created three ice crystals on itself like a crown. Scorpio decided to dub the poisonous blade the Arsenic, while the pure staff he dubbed the Poseidon. Soon after, he issued a challenge to Kia.
When the elemental battle commenced, everyone including Kia was shocked by the immense strength of the Poseidon, who conjured massive waves to wreck pillars, while the Arsenic simply needed a stab here and there to inflict just as lethal poison. Her Puffer Fishes stuck in the Realm of Summoning** and her own blood becoming poisoned, Kia began to falter- and suddenly fell, lifeless. The immense power of the two legendary weapons combined had overwhelmed her body. The Life elementals tried to use their Druid's Staffs, but even that would not revive her. Having lost his only friend, the Oracle cried, and the teardrops landed on a small piece of water pillar as well as Kia's body.
Suddenly, a rush of water surrounded Kia's body, and she slowly stood, and then floated, thus giving birth to the first Nymph Queen. Out of her gratitude for the Oracle saving her, she transferred a small amount of power from herself to him, and from the Oracle's imagination formed the essences that would eventually become the very first nymphs to be summoned in battle by the Oracle himself.
The three students went their separate ways. Scorpio, ashamed of himself even though Kia forgave him, began to travel the lands and learn more about the elements. His mastery was so powerful that he was chosen to become the 8th of the False Gods, who welcomed him with open arms, as well as a reward in learning how to use the power of immortality, Aether, at the cost of his Mark of the Earth. It is said one with the right power will encounter him on the night when it rains on the full moon.
The Oracle, realising the power of the Nymphs, as well as the ascending power of the False Gods, began to travel as well. During his travels, he also entered a lot of eating competitions, causing his figure to become very round. However he also saw the cultures formed by the creatures of the elements, and by using the memories of the many cultures he had seen and friend he had made, he created the nymphs, creature who could use spells as if they were elementals themselves. They were not very strong physically, but they were not meant to be - their power had come from the unification of those with little power and strong dreams.
It is said that a lucky elemental that meets the Oracle will get the power to call upon one of these nymphs, as well as obtain other predictions of the future and other trinkets.
Kia was never seen again, but legend has it that she travels alongside the Oracle as a spirit guide, and is only called upon when the Oracle faces an enemy rivaling his power.
* I made Scorpio use Earth instead of Aether because I felt it would go better with the creation of Poseidon.
