CharonThe pathway to hell is long and cold.
He appears as I imagined death itself, encased in a black hood with a cape of frozen poison. This dark figure, a shadowy wisp who reigns over the dead.
The pathway to damnation is long and winding and yet he seeks no company, and I will not seek his. The sounds of the dammed seem to provide him all the company he needs.
“It is survival,” His voice is the flow of the blood sea itself
“From silence comes madness”
My thoughts are not private.
He is trapped here.
Trapped within the endless torment of all people
Why is he punished?
Why was he outcast?
This could not be an entrapment of his own choosing
He wields the power of a god and yet is sent to deliver the souls of the forgotten to their final torment?
Without moving he seems to glare at me.
I know what this means.
Every inch of my body seems to freeze, and I slowly drop to my knees.
There is only accepting this fate. There is no contesting it. I am dead. I will become a drop in the ocean of blood.
And he shall remain.
Alone forever.
So yeah I modeled mine after Charon, the ferry man of the dead in Greek Mythology. I needed something to blend together
