I'm applying with Pandora. (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,18612.0.html)

Yes, I know one of the gods is already named Pandora, but I posted the god on the FG Proposal section a while before this, and the idea REQUIRES this name. Badly. So I hope this is not against the rules.

You need to include the deck image and everything in this thread, rather than just providing a link.

If you read the first post, you will see that you need a deck image, deck name, and deck descriptions in this topic for it to be counted. The link to your deck in the FG Proposal area is optional for this competition (but will be mandatory for future competitions) as that is where discussion on your FG will happen.

(SOMEONE PLEASE SUGGEST A BETTER NAME FOR THIS GUY)

I remember a "fallen" paladin in Dante's The Divine Comedy, named Ganelon, who has been banished by the gods to Cocytus (the river of wailing) as a punishment for betrayal (the french to the muslims in the VIIIth century). Maybe it fits for the theme.

The legend of Venus.
They ridiculed her when she stepped up for a position on the battlefield. What could she do? This was not the place for an icon of love and beauty. They laughed behind her back, and made sick, perverted jokes about what she could be used for during the war. She would not stand for it. It was time to reveal her true self.

The warlords were shocked, as she transformed in front of them. The result could only be compared to the Gargoyles that hid in the haunted mansions. She revealed that her beauty was only a trick; a simple manipulation of sight. But this was not the limit of her manipulation powers. She could also control the minds of others. The high warlord was brought to his knees by his allies. To add the finishing touch to her cruel, twisted games, she infected the high warlord with a deadly neurotoxin. With this, she formed a link that allowed her to drain his powers as the battle progressed. There was nothing he could do.

The kingdom and its army belonged to her, but the methods she used were incredibly distasteful. She was banished by the higher Gods, and stripped the respect she once had.

But it was not the end. She had taken down one group, and there was no way she would turn back from her goal now.

Charon

The pathway to hell is long and cold.
He appears as I imagined death itself, encased in a black hood with a cape of frozen poison. This dark figure, a shadowy wisp who reigns over the dead.

The pathway to damnation is long and winding and yet he seeks no company, and I will not seek his. The sounds of the dammed seem to provide him all the company he needs.
“It is survival,” His voice is the flow of the blood sea itself
“From silence comes madness”
My thoughts are not private.

He is trapped here.
Trapped within the endless torment of all people
Why is he punished?
Why was he outcast?
This could not be an entrapment of his own choosing
He wields the power of a god and yet is sent to deliver the souls of the forgotten to their final torment?

Without moving he seems to glare at me.
I know what this means.
Every inch of my body seems to freeze, and I slowly drop to my knees.
There is only accepting this fate. There is no contesting it. I am dead. I will become a drop in the ocean of blood.
And he shall remain.
Alone forever.

So yeah I modeled mine after Charon, the ferry man of the dead in Greek Mythology. I needed something to blend together  :water and  :death.

I feel like the deck is pretty close balanced, and could be quite fun with a bit of balance testing.
Deck V1.02

In Greek mythology, Charon is the ferryman of Hades who carries souls of the newly deceased across the rivers :water Styx and Acheron that divided the world of the living from the world of the dead :death. A coin to pay Charon for passage, usually an obolus or danake, was sometimes placed in or on the mouth of a dead person.

:o I completely missed this. Sorry Kakerlake  :(

Should I change my submission or is having two with different deck themes but modeled after basically the same thing ok?

Like I said, needs some balance testing, but if Innul works then any soul catcher should go berserk and BOOM you get :death quanta. Maybe I should have added Ice Bolts for sudden kill and excess of  :water, but the excess is in the event of the AI dropping multiple Innul while still having enough to freeze stuff.

you have only 2 soul catchers and the only way you kill creatures are aflatoxins so soul catchers don't do that much in the deck

Hyperion (Greek Ὑπερίων, "The High-One") was one of the twelve Titan gods of Ancient Greece, which were later outcast, supplanted by the Olympians. He was the lord of light, and the titan of the east. This deck utilizes blessings on Ball Lightnings for its main attack, with white nymphs healing and providing bioluminescence to the BL's. Hyperion has a chance for a miracle as well as a hope shield defense. He has silence as light should be seen, not heard... and thunderbolts for when it should be heard. There will be 80 cards (double the image shown).
