I lose (again).0-3 to Pervepic.
Round 1: No Perma + Hand full of uselessly-expensive Dragons + Lots of Pests + Lots of Vamps + Eclipse = Dead Master of Water.
Round 2: -4 Dragons, -1 Crawler, +1 Permafrost, +2 Squids, +2 Inundation. I knew I needed creature control -- and a lot of it -- so I went all-out and hoped I could negate his Vamps enough to overwhelm his healing with Crawlers.
Lots of early Towers and a couple of second-turn SoGs made things look like they were going my way early. A pillar shortage on Pervepic's part didn't help. Dusk Mantle came out early and was annoying. Then he stole a SoG, which was also annoying, but a third came out to take the second's place pretty quickly. We both hovered near MaxHP for several turns, but a second stolen SoG and a complete lack of Permafrost Shield meant that his Vampire Dagger, of all things, slowly whittled me down while my SoGs + his Dusk Mantle kept him at 100 HP even with all of his Vampires frozen. Inundation helped my twin Octopi keep things on the creature front down to size, but that single turn of attackyness before Inundation kills you allowed him to overpower my poor single SoG with a final suicidal Vampire attack.
Round 3: Same as Round 2.
I started out with an early Crawler+Squid, and his Pests kept me to 3 quanta per turn, so I basically did nothign but freeze Vampires in the early game. His Dusk shield came out on turn 2 or 3, which sucked. Four Crawlers + all four SoGs came out early; the Squid+3 of them kept his offense on lockdown, his stolen SoG+Dusk Shield+Vamp Dagger kept mine in the same state. He then stole a second SoG, and we danced around the 100 HP mark for a while longer.
I put down a Permafrost, he stole it, so I put down another. He drove my HP down while his stayed high. Eclipse didn't hit until he only had 6 cards left in his deck, but it didn't matter -- Permafrost froze all of my stuff and left his pretty much alone. I went down in a blaze of glory.
Conclusion: Steal kills my deck, DED.
