Deckbuilding & Writing Competition: 7 Deadly Haikus
The Gameplan: Build 3 decks and write 3 Haikus based off of 3 of the 7 Deadly Sins (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_deadly_sins)
They are:
Wrath (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anger) - :fire
Greed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greed) - :time
Sloth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sloth_(deadly_sin)) - :earth
Pride (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pride) - :light
Lust (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lust) - :entropy
Envy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Envy) - :life
Gluttony (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gluttony) - :gravity
Must read, therefore read:
- 3 decks per 3 Haikus per 3 sins per person.
- All three decks must have a different mark, and no two decks can be the same Mono/Duo/Trio/Quad/Rainbow.
So Deck 1 can be a Mono with a fire mark, but Deck 2&3 can not be a mono nor can they have the fire mark. - The element beside the sin above, may not be in that deck.
So if Deck 1 is based on Envy. It can have no life cards, nor can it have a life mark. - Other cards are acceptable
- You should have one Haiku per deck. So 3 decks, 3 Haikus. The Haiku should talk about the sin and/or the deck and/or both.
- Haikus should be titled, and they will follow the pattern of:
Line 1: 5 syllables
Line 2: 7 syllables
Line 3: 5 syllables - You're asked to craft 3 different decks. YES IT IS OKAY IS THEY REALLY ARENT THE MOST POWERFUL in the game.
Thematics > all. - NO EXPLANATION other than the actual haiku is acceptable for the decks. So make them good.

Also, are you still allowed to use quanta of the corresponding element? For example, is it legal to make a FFQ deck that uses Rustlers and Fireflies for Pride?
And when you say that they don't necessarily have to be good, they still have to be functional, correct?
