Thanks sub! CO and I have both been very busy. We still plan to do our own run of the simulations for the official victory... Soon™!

The criteria for victory we were planning on using was the number of games won, not the number of matches won. We can see how the wording might have been a bit ambiguous there. By our planned metric, vindi still comes out on top, but only by 1 point (4105 against Vineroz's 4104). We'll have to see how it works out in the end though, that's a very slim margin! ;)

The Great City has elected Submachine as the citizen most fit for the job of the Glorious Undersecretary of Urban Planning and Development. We look forward to seeing what great feats he accomplishes, after the mandatory fourteen month corruption probe spent under house arrest. The Most Glorious And Resplendent Great City Law Enforcement Division Unit offers a sincere assurance and solemn promise that we have no intent to appropriate his no doubt humble worldly possessions, not excluding common household objects like tables.

Or you could just call the win right there.
We have been waiting for so long, its good to end the tournament.

I don't think waiting a little longer will hurt any of you. COs are busy, let them take their time. The newer competitions run smoothly so, since this do not delay any competition events, let us not rush anything imho. Yes, this comes from someone who didn't participate in this competition but still shares his opinion. :P

Simulation Results

Attention, citizens of the Most Glorious And Resplendent Great City!

Earlier this week the Most Glorious And Resplendent Great City Law Enforcement Division Unit did not discover a terrorist cell simulating dangerous, highly-violent card games in defiance of Article 14. Any reports you may or may not have heard asserting this to be true are false, and may be disregarded! Please pass on the sources of this information to the Most Glorious And Resplendent Great City Law Enforcement Division Unit such that they may be dealt with!

In an unrelated event, the Most Glorious And Resplendent Great City has recruited several volunteers to visit the Moon! These volunteers are:

dawn to dusk
InsignificantWeeaboo
Submachine (who has been removed from house arrest for this purpose)
CleanOnion
Basman-1453
Kalinuial
CactusKing
Naii_the_Baf
shockcannon
Vindilos
mathman101

These volunteers will be paid for their time and services, but sadly will not be given the chance to say goodbye to their families as their shuttle is leaving very soon. Those that return, if any, may or may not have any memory of visiting the Moon. Those that exhibit any other memories, especially those that disparage the Most Glorious And Resplendent Great City or its interrogation techniques, are to be discredited and ostracised!

The following contains very technical information regarding payment of these volunteers and may be ignored:

We would like to give special thanks to Vineroz for putting these volunteers in contact with the Most Glorious And Resplendent Great City Optional Recruitment Drive! He has been rewarded with a variety of worldly possessions such as tables.

Are you sure you put my code in correctly? Because I had very favorable results against most of the field when I did simulations myself (as shown by Submachine).

100% certain - I just checked your original deck code against the one in my spreadsheet and they're identical. I also simulated it against several of the other decks and got similar results. If you could show us what results you're getting, I'd be interested to see.

I think the browser you use has a big impact in the results of the simulation...

Note to sub, this is why even when they are being slow, never interfere with judging when it is someone else's job. Of course they couldn't use your unofficial results, but just by posting them you cause drama if the official results are slightly different.

Note to Vindi, this sucks for you, but be mad with Sub not the COs.

Yes, we can safely say that CO-work is CO-work - at the same time I'd like to add a few important thoughts.

- I feel that the win conditions weren't 100% clear. Matches? Games? In most cases matches matter - that wasn't stated here.

- Because of Sub's test we know that different browsers may yield different results. I'm pretty sure the COs weren't aware of
that - guess they would have mentioned it in the initial post.

I think the only thing we can bring up against Sub is that he didn't mention that his calculations are not official.
But he also didn't know about the script vs. browser issue.
<---- A nice purple pie, shiny cups and a trio of cakes on a red platter, a box of candies and an ice cream cone on chocolate! :) Bon appétit!
