So let's say I get the topic Scones, can I make a card called Trypophobia, or must it relate directly to the topic?

Or if I get Basketball, is Free Throw an acceptable card idea to base it on?

Your card has to have the same title as your article. However, there is some room for leniency with the thematics - if you get Basketball, basing your card on the concept of Free Throws is definitely okay.  ;)

Basically, if your article's title is very specific, you can pretty much do anything that makes sense with that title.

If there is no objection from anyone else, I have no issue with adding you to the competition. You will have slightly less time to complete Round I, though.
