I'd like to request some feedback for this competition - specifically, why were people so hesitant to enter? Is there anything I could've done to make the competition more interesting?

The admins have a installed Referral Modification on our forum. As you may soon see, there will be a "Referrals" counter under your activity bar in post view (if not, it'll quickly show up in your profile.). As of now, we've "invited" zero people to join this community. It's time to change that.
Rules:
1. Go to your
Profile and copy the "Referral Link" (
Note : This referral link only shows up if you have the 'Ultimate Profile' option disabled!).
2. Use this link on your signatures on other forums, send it to your friends, send it to your postman, etc. (Make sure you don't use the normal ETG link or someone else's referral link by accident - if you do, the referral doesn't count!)
3. For every person who registers using
your referral link, you will get one point.
4. After two weeks, when this competition ends, top-2 recruiters win a prize which is some awesome icon that I will reveal later!
5. Not a rule per se, but for this competition
I'd like to suggest everyone to disable their 'Ultimate Profile' if they have it active. It seems to hide the referral links and your referral counter for some reason.
6. Please post a signup here if you are entering the competition! I don't have the ability to mass-check referrals or know who is just referring for fun, so this is important!
