Participants test their mettle in writing well-informed (non-card based) featured articles for the new wiki; many articles may be posted onto the wiki, but the best one(s) may be featured on the front page!

RULES

• Any member can participate in this fun writing challenge. Have you figured out a new version of the QI (quanta index)? Do you know an excellent strategy against Half-Bloods and their decks? Can you write a new format for the False God articles? If so, come on it, and start typing away!
• Each entry must be related to either Elements the Game or Elements in general (a forum event such as Forum Brawl, or PvP tournaments, for example). The minimum amount of words required is 750 words (you may have to create a separate document with only words just in case).
• Articles may include various things, such as deck codes or card images*, hand-made banners and art to help accentuate the article (please, do not paste copyrighted artwork), or other things as well.
• Articles should NOT be about one of the following:
• Personal Deck Strategy guides based on WELL-KNOWN, ALREADY UNDERSTOOD DECKS (Do not create an article about a shrieker rush or mono-life, as those are already done. You can still create personal deck strategies against a particular PvE or PvP setting.)
• Specific Cards (We already have a format for those, and we prefer if something more original can be created to fill other parts of the wiki)
• How awesome you are as an Elements player
• Joke guides, hacking, how to agitate the staff members or become a chat mod, etc. (humor is okay, but let's be careful here)
• Participants may not edit each others articles, nor try to recreate an article that already exists (participants may 'reserve' a page on the new wiki on a first come first serve basis for entering this competition). Please respect each other's writings. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in immediate disqualification.
• Once the entrees are finalized, we'll put them all in a poll; the winner will get an awesome award icon for their personal thesis contribution to the wiki, and even a first-page spread!

How and where do I start such an article?

You can create an article on the wiki by either a) clicking on a red link (empty page) and filling it with useful information as an article source, or b) modify the URL in the wiki page (replace whatever is after the '/wiki/' with the name of your article) and modify the new page as your article source. Provide links if possible so that you can 'claim' ownership to what you're writing.

Oh neat. Are we allowed to use images from other peoples' previous articles? (I'm sort of too lazy to get my own screencaps, and I'm asking if like, I can use the screencap of the oracle that Xeno used in his tutorial article. If not, I'll just screencap it myself).

I would suggest that you get your own screencaps, but if you REALLY want, ask the person who wrote the article for permission to use their images.

I sincerely apologize for everyone who may or may not anticipate my tutorial. Don't worry, i will still work on it. Just not now.

Updated the post; you can NOW create articles on decks that are 'classics' (it should be variants on widely popular decks, such as CCYB, RoL-Hope, Shrieker Rush, Ghostmare, Mono-Life, etc.), and provide sufficient proof that it works against a particular set of opponents (AI3, Half-Bloods, FG, Arena, PvP, etc.).

If you need help with wikia formatting, syntax, or how your article looks in general, there's people you can ask, myself included (as I did get involved on the internet through wikis). I won't help with the actual content, or edit the page directly (as that's obviously against competition rules), but I'll give anyone pointers if you ask nicely.

One question, does the article have to be non-fiction, or is fiction alright?
Also, is this some sort of clever trick to get more people to post on the wiki?
