Just for clarification, confusion causes a 1/3 chance of attacking opponent, 1/3 chance of attacking yourself, and 1/3 chance of doing nothing at all. Also, the upgraded card has the ability "confound" which is the same as confusion but lasts for 3 turns instead of 2.

Actually like I explain there in the first post..

- this competition is only about the IDEA, not the art (We will have an art competition later, or maybe a combined idea + art competition.)
- when we judge these card ideas, the image is not (or at least should not be) a judging criteria
- these cards are not supposed to be added to the game as they are
- nobody is going to jail because they borrowed a copyrighted image for this little forum competition

That being said, if you want to help with the art, just go for it. Although I suggest you save the best ones for the art competition.

I agree with SG even tho I think psychologically most people are incline to judge the same card better if it's paired with a nice artwork :)

This is my card (art is mine too, it should be a sort of screaming skull)

The card idea is simple, and would greatly improve the metagame IMHO.

I think that's the most important part of this competition, and it would probably be a good idea to make sure everyone understands that.

'about to be killed' means exactly what it says.  That is, if any effect would 'kill' it.  That is, if their HP reaches 0, are targeted by devour or paradox, or anything else that would otherwise put the card Out Of Play.  Then the 'escape' effect triggers on that condition and the Kitsune plays Rewind on itself.  The escape clause fits the nature of the card, and the specific nature of the escape prevents from any death-based loop abuses.  That is, you can't infinitely feed an Otyugh with this, or use it to grow a bone wall or vulture to massive proportions, since Rewind doesn't count as a 'death'.

Though I suppose one could use this to prevent being decked out instead of using Eternity...

I'm only taking about graphics there. The idea should be something that can be added to the game.

Of course the idea of the card should be able to be added to the game. I meant if Zanz wanted to change the element, or quantum cost, he will do so. So those characteristics shouldn't be viewed as "final."

A problem with your card. What happens if this effect is activated, putting eight cards in your hand? When your turn comes, you'll lose the next card you draw. This will hurt you the majority of the time, seeing as your card only deals one damage. If I see you have some of these out, I'll kill them so I can basically cause you to discard the top card from your deck every turn.
