Icy might be a noob, but, as he admits, he

spends waaay too much time on forums
so he could easily find a decent mono aether.

A deck with 18 towers, 6 dim shields, and 6 phase dragons could probably beat a mono-time, which as stated has no permanent control.

Thinking about what Kael said, starting with 30 cards, assuming you go first, you will then have 23 (22 if second), meaning you only have to live for 5 turns (or 4), before you can chain shields, while Time's only hope is with dials and procrastination to stall icy until he decks.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

Actually that's not all. What he could do is get reverse times and eternity out fast enough to keep rewinding Icy's cards so he isn't able to draw any more new cards, so he can't draw a new dim shield

I wouldn't use any non-immortal creatures in a Mono-Aether against Mono-Time. And Phase Spiders are useless unupped, because Icy said he doesn't have upped cards.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

Hey! It was a pretty good suggestion if he does use phase spiders >.>

Puppy, you could look into a deck-out strategy. Delay shield+6SoGs counteracts the full damage output of a traditional mono=aether.

Yes, he thought about that already.

Stalling and deck-out strategy actually fits perfectly in Time theme :)

yeah, that's about the only chance time has of winning, just pray icy wont be able to up any cards or take immortals for extra damage. ^-^

Personally, I think earth, darkness, and fire have the best chance (Or entropy if jmizz plays some ridiculous anti-matter+diss field deck). Due to being the only elements with perm control (And I can protect mine). Although if I use gravity mark, I can't take graboids.
