Ok it's time to finish this thing.

We have the top-3 Masters. Now you guys need to do a round-robin tournament. If there's a draw, we'll do sudden victory.

I'm pretty sure you guys can organize this yourselves, yes? Should be pretty simple. Just PM your opponents and find a suitable time to fight.

Post results here as usual.

If you have questions, ask. If not, good luck.

xdude is still on vacation I believe, and Puppy is just busy, as I have been this past week. The best option, as I have said, is to simplt get in chat when you're on, saves time and organization.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

My "do it in your own time" strategy doesn't work because nothing is happening.

Like I said in chat, you guys have 72 hours to finish the battles. 72 hours, 2 battles per person. Shouldn't be difficult.

After that 72 hours, a player not finished the matches will be disqualified from the event. Hopefully now we can finally finish this event.

Terroking vs. PuppyChow, 3-0

Perfect 3-0 record on all games so far, total 9-0. Earth just has too many options, this challenge is much too one-sided, doing it with 50% next time and no shards will be a lot better.

Game 1:

Code: [Select]
6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 779 779 779 779 77c 77c 77f 77f 77h 77h 77h 77h 77j 77j 77j 77j 77j 77j
This one was pretty easy, got a good hand with both diamond and Pulvy in it, took easy control without drawing any QS. Got a shrieker out, and it started beating until he got a drag out, but I had SoGs to tip the balance that time.

Code: [Select]
778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 779 779 779 779 77c 77c 77f 77f 77h 77h 77h 77h 77j 77j 77j 77j 77j 77j
I decided that he'd probably keep the perms, figuring I'd switch (Or something, my bet is that he's just going to reply and say he was too lazy :P). Pulvy didn't come out in the starting hand this game, but a 2nd turn shrieker paired with 2 QS started me off. He did manage to go two rounds with his shield, but Pulverizer went out then, and it ended there. Threw out the SoGs since it didn't look like I needed them, and they'd slowed me down.

Code: [Select]
778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 779 779 779 779 779 779 77g 77g 77g 77g 77g 77g 77h 77h 77h 77h
Just went for your classic rush, spamming Antlions and Graboids to the end. He didn't manage to get his shield this game, which was lucky for me, but he did manage to draw a ridiculous amount of precogs in his starting hand, and ended up with 7x towers and 2x mark. Didn't save him though, got too lucky.

All in all, the matches were terribly one-sided, with me having access to super-fast rushing and perm control. Since time has no heavy hitters besides dragons, and I had Earthquakes at my disposal, turning his drags into more hand-clogging space (The second game at least).

So, like I said at the top, 50% will make it much fairer.

GGs Puppy, just gotta beat xdude now :P

(Also, even going perm-less doesn't stop the pulvy, it can kill whatever the QS doesn't.)

First game I used my Mono Time hax draw deck, but with 3 hourglasses instead of 2. And 14 towers instead of 15.

Second game I took out the hourglasses, thinking he would stay with the pulvy, and replaced them with 2 more towers and another dragon. I left the shields since I figured he would only be able to destroy every other turn so I would at least get 1 turn of utility out of it.

Last game I stayed with the same deck because I figured it gave me the best chance of winning. I was unlucky and didn't draw a turtle shield. Oh well.

OK Terro, I might not manage to defeat you but I'm DEFINITELY not going to let you win this without any lost game. Prepare to lose the streak. Smack-talk mode - over.

Looks like Earth is still invincible.

3-0, Terroking

Code: [Select]
778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 77g 77g 77g 77g 77g 77g 77h 77h 77h 77h 77j 77j 77j 77j 77j 77j
I used the above deck for all matches.

First game, I think he tired to go pillarless with RoLs and peggis, but it was too slow vs. Graboids, even with SoGs.

Second game, I kept the same deck since I knew Earth was a ton faster than Light, and all I had to do was stop Miracle from coming out. It worked fairly well, and while he did manage to get out a drag eventually, I already had 3 shriekers on the board. Miracle didn't make an appearance.

Third game, I think he tried to go for a stall deck, he spammed SoDs at the beggining but again, Graboids were too fast. He managed to Miracle once, but I had too much damage out.

GGs, again, it really wasn't fair at all. We need this 50% rule up next time.

Total record, 12-0, can you manage to pull a win off Puppy? (Or xdude again, doesn't matter all too much to me)

Holy lord. Terroking, you are invincible. Either you are insanely good at this game, you really know how to use your element, your element rocks, or a combination thereof. You knocked over some of the best players in this game like they were bowling pins. Congratulations on a job well done.

I guess Earth makes the best Mono deck when upgraded, huh? It has the most destructive permanent control (Quicksand), and it has the ONLY permanent protection (Protect Artifact). Earth's monopoly over permanent protection really makes Quicksand unstoppable. After thinking about it, I'm starting to feel that Earth has an unfair advantage :P
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.
