Right now I'm just hoping that me and Xdude can work out a time that fits both of us. I'm in GMT-8 and he's in GMT+2, so there's a 10-hour difference between us... But we've almost got it worked out.

I tried my deck against a Mono-Light with no Miracles but six Holy Lights. The outcome is pretty much luck-based: if I draw Devourers early and he draws Holy Lights late, then I'll win; if it's the other way around, I'll lose.

Btw bob, did you forget what Discord does to a mono-deck? At 3 quanta cost, it'll be playable even without towers...

I lost my fight against Xdude. 0/3. Epic fail...

First time, I got him down to 17 HP while I was at 22 with a Dusk Mantle. He Miracled and killed me.

The next two games are just bad draw and bad luck. In the third game I didn't draw a single Dusk Mantle.

Oh well... First image is the deck I used for 1st and 2nd game, second image is the one for the 3rd game.

OK, I just plaid BloodShadow and won 3-0. I'm gonna do this like Essence and say how I did it.

1st game
I used the first deck which is a variation of Skillgannon's speed deck (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,658.0.html) (changed RoL's for towers, added 1 mirror shield, 1 morning glory and 2 Miracles instead of 4 towers), figuring he won't have more steals than creature control. I was wrong about that and up to a point he kept up greatly with a dusk mantle and a LS'd Dragon. However, I Miracled, his LS'd dragon died and my dragons FINALLY hit him(yeah, they missed like hell).

2nd game
Figuring out that I could use some more damage since the 1st game really took a long while with his LS'd dragon and dusk shield, I added 2 Archangels and took out 1 tower, since I was afraid of decking out (in my noobity(noobness?) I didn't notice he had been using 33 cards decks  ???. He had a terrible draw with only a pillar, while my archangels and dragons popped out fast and this game turned out to be an easy win for me.

3rd game
He said that he was going to change decks and said me to wait like 5 minutes (during which I made the first 2 screenshots). I thought he was going for a rush so I took the Archangels and the shield out, adding more control (Holy Flash). It was pretty easy since he never got a Dusk Mantle.

All in all, GG BS more luck next time!

I thought about using creature control, but with all the dragons I have, my Darkness quanta simply won't build up. Drain Life will only be useful near end game, in which point I'd already be dead.

I tried hardcore quanta denial, which means 6 Steals. However, they didn't work out to well, so in the third game I swapped them for Vampires. I tested it once against a Mono-Light and it won. However, I lost due to plain bad luck...

And yes, I did use 33 cards to prevent deckout due to Miracle.

Good luck on your next game, Xdude. You'll need it. You might have a chance against Death (due to OP Holy Flash), but against Life... IMMAGUNNAUZEADRENALINERUSHUDEAD!!!!!!!!!

And don't underestimate Miracles. I wonder if xd00d has any SoDs... Sure, Life will be hard as it'll all boil down to "who can beat through each other's healing", and Life with its Bonds, if you let them stack up, may have lots of it. Especially that you can't control creatures out.

I DO have 4 SoD's and I'm planning on getting even more by then ext match. I have already started thinking how to defeat life and I think I might've found something.

Oh and BS Holy Flash is UP, unless you know you'll play death/darkness, case in which it's basically only a better thunderbolt(lightning)

P.S.:

During in Elements, (ive been playing it for 3 months, but didnt know about the forum) ive found that the elements are good in different ways. They can be very unpredictable... I thought Fire would win Water...and to my surprise it didnt......

I have a feeling that Blood will win, or lose in a close counter. Darkness is one of the most toughest elements in the game, and so as light. Miracle will be tough for blood..But i will support Darkness anyways, ME EVIL

Earthquakes are Earth.

I expect Earth to win. EQs lock down practically anything except for itself, Pullverizer (upped) with Gravitymark is also great, or those Graboids and Shriekers for when the enemy doesn't have any worthwhile permanents to add lots of force... Stoneskin does pretty nice healing, Titanium/Diamond shield is the most powerful typical one, BB lets you stop the enemies for longer than freeze, forming efficient control, with Auburn Nymphs (if you have any) being a reusable source of those...

Currently Earth is simply the most versatile element. Or so.

Gravity is also powerful with ignoring shields and Otyughs, bashing Aether with its also powerful stalling and Life and such with their small creatures, but lacks healing aside from Black Holes that really suck against other Monos and permanent control, Aether cannot be stopped by conventional means and stalls highly but lacks pretty much everything or other, Light can do its Miracles to have like 650 HP, and of course nobody disallowed SoDs in there and by this time it can deploy enough to beat the enemy even with boredom (and those Holy Lights that are useless unless against Death/Darkness... poor BS)... and Air can just deploy much Gas like it was Ass and OHKO anything without SoDs or spells reflection if it can stall to this point and no one breaks them.

The italicized section is all one sentence...  But since he's not from the US, I'll let it slide. 

Anyway, I'll root for the underdog here. C'mon Blood!

Holy Flash is OP if you know you're gonna play Darkness or Death, and it's useless for anything else. The OP part is that it's free.

Oh yeah, in the last game, you cast Holy Flash on me even though I was using an Earth Mark. At first I thought, WTF?! Is he taking pity on me by healing me, then killing me even more brutally?
