I can't use a card of mine,too. Because of the rule I can't use efficiently my Rustlers.
So I have to build another strategy up.
I would prefer to have other Towers, but when we aren't allowed we aren't allowed.

I have to say I'm kind of surprised to see a Master act this way.

Competition rules have been made clear and they are final. If a person wants to step down from a Masters position because of this competition, I can make that happen. I'm sure there are many who would like to get that position.

I will let the previous (now deleted) comments slide, but if I see one more name calling or anything like that, action will be taken.

Also me changing the rules was not some last second thing. After I changed it, there was still 10+ DAYS before the competition even starts. That's more than enough time to prepare for battle.

Sundials help cancel out Phase shields, if you can't attack (phase shields), they can't attack (sundials).

While yall argue this point on which I have no opinion on, I will kindly point out that "bullsh!tter" involves one who does the action; "bullsh!ttier" is probably the proper term.

A light mono makes a strong aggro but doesn't have much control or defense. Regardless, if xdude knows what he's doing, he'll get deep into the competition with Miracles and whatnot

Yeah. Mono-Light is useless against anything else, but it totally pwns Mono-Dark. I'll lose for sure.

Bloodshadow: I don't know about that.  Mono-Light can take out any 6 of your creatures, sure -- but you have a lot more offensive and tricky options than mono-Light does.   Dusk Shield reduces his damage by half; Syphon Life can kill his smaller creatures while restoring your life total; Devourer can slow down the arrival of his Golden Dragons significantly (untouchably once they're Burrowed) and accelerate your own Syphon Life defense along the way -- and one Eclipsed Vampire will keep up with one Golden Dragon in terms of overall life balance.

It's a hard fight, but not unwinnable in my opinion.

I did some thread cleaning. I removed a bunch of posts that didn't break any rules or anything like that but they were still talking about that same subject so I removed them as well. Sorry about that.

Zanz didn't design this game to have these kinds of mono vs. mono challenges which is that there are no "perfect rules" for it. No matter what we go with, someone is always in disadvantage.

These new rules made most sense to me. You are a Master of a specific element so you can only use cards from that specific element, so every non-"Other" card will be available to only ONE Master.

Not only do these restrictions make deck building a challenge, but we also might get some answers about game balance between different elements.

I'd also like to point out that Masters are not above the law on this forum. Same rules apply to them that apply to everyone here. In fact, Masters are supposed to be "officers" of this community and are expected to act accordingly. If I see a Master repeatedly acting in a bad way and disrespecting others, that Master will be replaced.

I have a lot of work to do and to have to start my morning with this thread cleanup really annoys me because I could have used this time better.

I'm hoping we can now move along because this challenge is supposed to about fun.
