Yeah... I think Zenith/Nadir is getting so many votes because of that "Shiny factor" that has ruined card competitions so many times. Remember how the voting went on that weapon competition? And even that "Make This Card" one, which was really random with the choices: People picked a card that would have almost no use whatsoever, and even when it did, the effect barely did anything.
Quite a few other cards here have that "Shiny factor" too, but their abilities are actually pretty balanced, so it's fairly obvious they won't win this competition.
And Blood...
Kael is exactly right, the tiny synergy between those cards is terribly forced (Not inherent at all, you had to specifically list a card's name for it to exist) and a watered down version of SoR.
In fact, those cards cannot even be in play together without another card- Animate Weapon. Without that, you would just play one over the other and the synergy would be useless.
The cards have to work together well, but also work well with other cards in their element.
Just an example, Kami's cards. Blessed one is very resistant to creature control, and can become a good attacker with a Blessing. His Demonic Aura card works well in that it can be used twice on it, or once to stop it from becoming too frail. But, it also works well with, for example, Vampire/Minor Vampire. The hp minimum is just enough to allow both to be targets, and then gives them a massive increase in attack which they can use to double effect, by both healing and damaging by that amount. It also works well on Gargoyle, by playing them on each other, then using Stone Form to nullify the hp reduction.
And, of course, there is always this problem:
"The intelligence of that being known as the mob is equal to the square root of the number of people inside it"
-Terry Pratchett
I'm pretty sure I got the wording on that one wrong...
