I have to agree with majofa here. Even the upped version is completely inferior to Abomination. And as much as I love Kuro, I fail to see the connection between the design of Window Prism and the picture provided. I'm really surprised to see both of the other cards with so few votes.

So the card I wish to synergize with is one where the upped costs more than the unupped.  Does the cost restriction apply such that my unupped must cost less than their unupped and upped less than upped. or can I make my unupped less than the upped and then my upped less than that?

The unupped should cost less than the corresponding unupped.
The upped should cost less than the upped.

If their costs are 2 / 7, your costs may be 1 / 6, or 1 / 0, so long as they aren't 5 / 5. I hope that helped.

On a semi-related note, if the card you are synergizing with has drastically different upped and unupped mechanics, you ARE allowed to only synergize with one version of it, just make that clear in the notes

No. Aves has a bye this round while the loser's bracket completes.

The winner will face Aves in the Final.

Ahh, I see what you mean. You're right, you won't be Aves's parasite this round, you will be his parasite for the final (regardless of who he's playing against)
