I have a slight artistic / philosophic problem with the PG-13 rule in this instance.
This is mostly me just making a point for the sake of it, as I understand the thinking behind it.
Art, as in fine art, is by its nature PG-13, because it is
artistic, it is a representation of someone's interpretation of the world. As far as I know, none of these artists are photographers, so having pornographic images is unlikely. If the images were painted, however, then it is simply an expression of the honest human experience.
"The Models" 1888 by Georges Seurat would fill this Competition's criteria, yet shows three nude women, one of which you can see her breasts. This is not the point of the painting, nor is it in any way pornographic. The painting is, in my mind, about the varying levels of insecurity of the women, as fully dressed people are able to see them through a large window. An expression of the human experience.
Nobody put black bin bags over the nude paintings on the school trip to the museum.
If children want to snigger at boobies, that is their business, but I would not personally consider censoring art.
As I said, I am being philosophic, I doubt I would want to use a nude painting, but if I were to come across one which I identify with the meaning behind the artwork, it would make me sad not to celebrate it by building a card around it, in order to in some way make a tribute to art which sparked my imagination, regardless of whether there happened to be skin in it
