A Challenge of Challenges

VOTING PHASE

Submissions:

Spoiler for rogerluc:
to grow up the number of arena player and people in chat ( don"t know if it will be work )  , i suggest to beat an arena deck of which the creator deck is connected to the chat.
Just take screen of the victory and another of the chat where we can see the time.
Enjoy and don"t forget to be crazy !

Spoiler for JonathanCrazyJ:
The Ring Run

Can you run rings around the Arena?

  • RNG 2 Elements.
  • Build a deck using at least 4 non-Pillar/Pendulum cards from those elements. 'Other' Cards are allowed. Any amount of any other elements are also allowed.
  • Win 4 Bronze Arena Matches.
  • Then Win 3 Silver Arena Matches.
  • Then Win 2 Gold Arena Matches.
  • Then Win 1 Platinum Arena Matches.
  • Then Win one more game of Bronze, then Silver, then Gold, then Platinum.
  • Enjoy your 4 consecutive rares.

Spoiler for Aves:
Metamorphosis

"Mutation: it is the key to our evolution. It is how we have evolved from a single-celled organism into the dominant species on the planet. This process is slow, and normally taking thousands and thousands of years. But every few hundred millennia, evolution leaps forward." -- Dr. Charles Xavier

Build an unupped 30 card deck with 6 mutations and at most one rare. This is your Initial Form. There will be a total of three forms your deck will go through. If your deck loses at any point, it reverts back to the latest form it was in, reverting all progress/changes after that point.

Face an AI. The mark of the AI will determine your target element for the Second Form. The Second Form will be a sixty card deck consisting of at least one third the target element and at most three mutations. Twenty cards must be upped in the Second Form.

After you satisfy the requirements of the Second Form, it is time to transition to the Third Form. The Third Form is a 40 card fully upped mono of the mark of your next opponent.

Post your deck in the challenge thread after you reach a Form, optionally with your Rare Limit and the opponents you cleaved through to get there!

Ah, now there's an important detail missing thus far-- How to change your deck!

Beating an opponent will yield the following modification options*! Beating an opponent lower on the list will also allow you to choose any of the modification choices above them. However, you may only choose one modification per opponent beaten!

Deck Modifications
AI0Change your mark.
AI1Change your mark.
AI2Change your mark.
Bronze LeagueRemove a card.
AI3Add a card.
Silver LeagueAdd/Remove two cards.
AI4Upgrade a card.
Gold League+1 to Rare limit
AI5Upgrade 2 cards.
Plat League+2 to Rare limit
*Arena opponents must have the following in order to count: [90+hp in bronze, 125+ hp in silver, 150+hp in gold/plat] (Includes losses)

Who can achieve their final form in the fastest time?

Spoiler for Flayne:
                                                Project: Assimilation

"Every acquisition of accommodation becomes material for assimilation, but assimilation always resists new accommodations."
- Jean Piaget

Welcome to Project Assimilation

Your involvement in this project is very important to the advancement of our existence as elementals.
This project aims to research and further understand the potential of elemental amalgamation,
or alternatively the assimilation of other elemental matter into a single entity.
The matter assimilated is mainly what the subject attracts the most, this is in an indicator that the attracted matter is compatible with the subjects body.
The effects are irreversible.

However, the assimilation process has a threshold, a single body can only contain so much matter different to its own essence.
The goal of the project and the challenge is:
To break this threshold and become an entity that can conquer the powerful half-bloods and become a superior race.

Instructions:
1:  You will start out by forming a Mono-element deck comprising of only 30
upgraded (or unupgraded) cards.
You may use your normal account or trainer.

Shards and non-weapon rare cards are NOT allowed.
(Weapons may be used as long as their duo ability is not used, ex: you may have a Trident but you will not be able to use its :earth ability unless you have assimilated an :earth card afterwards)

Once you have the deck ready,

2: You will challenge the lvl 3 AI or Bronze league (whichever. can alternate in between)
You may make the challenge harder/get different variety of cards by challenging Bronze league if you want.

Every time you win against the AI3 or Bronze league, you will assimilate 1 of 3 cards that were mostly used by the AI.
The card MUST be a different element to your starting element. All assimilated cards and starter are different elements.
Ex: I started with :water, I have assimilated  3 different cards from 3 different elements :time :death :air .
Cards are assimilated only by winning, not losing. If you won a match, you must choose an opponent card from the top 3 used from that match.
No skipping.
(only if their element is different to your starting element and different to every other assimilated card)

This involves integrating the card into your deck and having at least 3 copies of it or more. This means that you can now use pillars or pendulums involving both your starting element and the element of the newly assimilated card/s.
You may also have up to 40 cards in your deck as well if desired.

This does not mean that you can use other cards of the new element,
you will only use >3 of that card assimilated.
However, you may change/add/remove the cards of only your initial mono deck element as you please.

The table below, shows the process in stages:

Vs AI3 or Bronze wins#cards assimilatedType and max. #of cards
1st winAssimilate >3 cardsDuo deck of <35
2nd winAssimilate >3 cardsTrio Deck <40
3rd WinAssimilate >3cardsQuartet Deck <45

Example:

I started with Mono :water

1st match, I beat an AI3/Bronze deck that mostly used Mummies, Rewind Time and Bonewall
I choose Mummies and so must assimilate >3 Mummies into my current deck, I can change/remove only :water cards to accommodate the new card into my strategy, however the Mummies are permanent. With whatever pendulums/pillars I need for t he mummies.(and are the only :death card I can use)

2nd Match, I beat an AI3/Bronze deck that mostly used Fire bolts, Blessing and Pheonix.
Repeat process. I choose Blessing. I now have :water cards, Mummies and Blessing (With whatever pendulums or pillars I need). This is now a Trio deck.
Repeat for 3rd win. The final Deck must be a quartet deck.
The final deck may be upgraded if you wish.

3:  The final stage of the challenge, is to balance out your deck against the AI3s/Bronze
And then go for your 4th win using the final deck you have made...against the Half-Blood.

You will only have 5 chances, to win at least ONCE against the Half-Blood with the final deck you have made.

If you win against the half-blood, then the challenge has been won.
If you lose, you will have to start all over again.

Bonus challenge:

If defeating the Half-blood was not enough to satisfy you,
you can always go and attempt to defeat a Gold League deck that has at least 150 hp, using the deck that you defeated the Half-blood with.
Heck if Gold wasn't enough, then go for Platinum.
But I highly doubt you'll win. >:-)

Spoiler for andretimpa:
Elements Nuzlocke

Can you get them all?

This world is a dangerous place, inhabited by beings capable of manipulating the 12 elements in deadly ways. Nevertheless, you decide to go on a journey so that you can become a true master, commanding all creatures, spells and permanents known to the elementals. Along the way you'll face many battles that will increase your knowledge about this world if you win, but cripple your ability to manipulate the elements if you lose.

Will you press on, until the bitter end, or will you give up along the way?

The challenge is to go on trainer (with the All Cards cheat) and face the various NPCs that roam the map. You start having access to only a few cards. If you win you gain access to more cards and if you lose you lose permanently access to some cards. The challenge ends if you run out of cards to make decks or if you manage to acquire all the cards.

Rules:
  • You can only play against the NPCs appearing in the map. The quick match buttons are not allowed.
  • The cards you are allowed to use are displayed in your ElementDex (see the companion spreadsheet below)
  • Your ElementDex starts containing all the cards from the starter deck of the element you chose. You don't need to use the starter deck as your first deck, but can build something using the starting cards in your ElementDex.
  • You can't get cards from the same NPC more than once.
  • If you win, you can add to your ElementDex a card from the NPC deck.
  • If you lose, all the cards in your deck can't be used anymore.
  • The objective is to complete your ElementDex (the cards you lost along the way are still counted).
  • You can change upgrades in your deck at any time.
  • Whenever you beat a new NPC with level 45 or higher you can change your deck before the next battle.
  • The number of allowed upgrades depends on the highest level NPC you defeated (NPC level - 30).

As there's a lot of things that players need to keep track I made this spreadsheet that does 90% of the work for you:
Companion Spreadsheet

What you need to do to use it is
  • Input cards that you acquire
  • The name and level of the NPCs you defeat
  • The decks you lost with
It will check if your current deck is legal, tell you which cards are available for deckbuilding, how many upgrades you can use and your progress. Also, since you'll have your own copy of the doc you don't have to do challenge in one sitting and can stop and continue later with no problems.

Spoiler for Detailed instructions for the spreadsheet:
Most of the information is in the ElementDex, that looks like this when the spreadsheet is opened for the first time

Highlighted here, are the places where the player adds input to the ElementDex

  • 'new cards input' refers to the way cards are added to the ElementDex. Writing anything in one of these cells adds the corresponding card to the ElementDex.
  • 'deck input' refers to the field to add your deck, if you want to check if it is legal.

After playing a little your ElementDex will look way busier

there's a lot going on here. On the top left corner you can find your progress and on the bottom right corner you'll find the rest of the information not related to the cards you got.

The rest of the ElementDex deals with the cards you have. Each element is separated in a different box with 3 columns

Each line represents a card (both unupgraded and upgraded), whose name is in the second column. As explained before, the first column is the input where cards are added. If you write anything on it, you add the corresponding card to the ElementDex (I added 'o', but writing words, numbers, etc works too). The last column says if you can use the card or not, using an X to represent available cards and empty spaces for unavailable ones. When a card is added to the ElementDex it is automatically available (red circles above), but if you lose with a deck that uses a given card, then it is no longer available (blue circles above).

The other 2 spreadsheets are fairly straightforward.

Whenever you defeat an NPC add its name and level in the corresponding columns. The names are important for checking if you already faced that NPC and the levels are important to update the amount of upgrades you can use in your deck.

Whenever you lose to an NPC, add your deck code to one of the lines to update your ElementDex.
