Card Design Competition: New Year's Resolutions

At the start of a New Year, everybody wants to resolve the problems in their life.
But while you fix your belly, your smoking habit and your penchant for drinking twelve bottles of Scotch a week...
We want to resolve the problems in our decks.

The Resolution:

• Design a Card (unupped and upped) which would be the perfect way to solve a problem in a classic deck archetype of your choice.
• For example, you could identify that a problem with BoneBolt (Bonewall Poison Stall with Lightning Bolt) is facing opponents using healing. You could create a card which applies 1 poison counter to an opponent each time they heal themselves.
• You should try to make the card as balanced as possible - trying to ignore the fact you are making an already powerful deck even more powerful.
• You must include in the Notes the current deck archetype you are thinking about, and what problem with it you are resolving. You do not necessarily have to give an actual deck code, though you may do so if you wish.
• Card Art is disallowed.

My apologies, I did not carry over the "Card Art is disallowed" rule from my draft of this competition. It is now added to the OP.

The reason Art is disallowed in purely Card Design competitions, is that it can create bias in the voting towards the prettier art, not the better Card Design, which is, afterall, what the competition is all about.
