In this Element Shifted world, the element of fire exists much the way as it currently does.  However, the nature of the Fire Elementals has changed fairly drastically.  Fire is a very dangerous element, and those that use it must work hard to keep it under control, lest they risk hurting themselves or those they care about.  While for us, playing fire is often about getting as much fire quanta as we can get our hands on, in this world, they are far more careful.  They are calm, and they are reserved.  Fire is not just an element of destruction, it is a finely honed tool of transformation as well.

More meditation.  This skips all draws, including from effects (yours or your opponents)  Basically, on its face, this lets you delay a draw to get a bonus card on the following turn.  However, there are some other niche uses such as preventing deckout, and stopping the current fire shard, which I imagine got shifted to another element in this world (:Light if I was making it)  The life gain bonus is because fire elementals are better at channeling their meditation/thoughts into more strength.  Plus it helps Fire recover from the damage it does to itself.

The alternative to the Druidic/Jade Staff, this Handler's/Tamer's Whip is rather a damage-dealing than a defensive weapon.
Thrash is a special ability which deals 1 damage to target creature and force that creature to ignore any shield effects to its next attack. In other words, a thrashed creature takes 1 damage but gains momentum for 1 attack (than means an Adrenalined creature will have momentum only at its very first attack if Thrashed this turn). Thrash can also be used as a CC effect against an enemy creature. In that case, the enemy creature takes 1 damage but it is unstoppable during its next attack if still alive.

Targeting with devouring cretaures allows them to eat souls, like eating a creature, but with no more death effects, as it is already dead. Stealing will only work if there are 0 counters. Stealing while there are counters will steal one counter, which turns into a skeleton. Explosion also removes one counter only.

I feel that this represents the name Soul Catcher much more thematically, by allowing the souls to be used.

Gravity Elementals like being strong; whether it be by rushing the opponent to death before he can blink, or by slowing the game down to a snail's speed while always staying one step ahead. They use cards like 'Inertia' to turn their creatures into powerful but brittle attackers; and 'Force Shield' to slowly turn their opponent's creatures into big but weak monsters.

In this version of Elements, Gravity is not about being big machine-like devils, or about moving something from one place to another. This Gravity is about being as strong as possible.

Momentum is still here, as is Sapphire Charger, because they are both immensely powerful cards. However, Sapphire Charger has 6/2 attack, and Elite Charger has 7/3. The -new- Gravity is not so much about big monsters, so the health is not too important, and it needs good rushers to balance out its stalling capabilities to maximise strength potential.

The stats of Sapphire/Elite Charger are also perfect when it comes to another -new- Gravity card, Inertia (which is in place of Acceleration), because their low health isn’t too affected by Inertia’s downside:

Non-pillar includes pends and stand alone marks. This is because there is no power in these things except the quanta-generating aspect that is destroyed with the pillar. Normal perms, though, have internal energy that is not destroyed and is used to make your creatures strong.
It also helps stop spamming, as most players have pillars, but not all use perms, and if they don't, you can't just sacrifice a pillar, you have to get rid  of something -important-.

As you probably can tell from the name of the Mercenary’s ability, Gravity Pull (the card) doesn't exist in the -new- Gravity. Not because the name is taken, just because it is a fairly weak form of CC, and it has Armagio for the job.

Yes, Armagio still exists, with a passive called ‘Heavy Mass’ which does the same as it usually does, just without the activation cost. If there are more than one Armagios on the field, the one in the lowest number spot gains the Gravity mark at the end of the round. (This means if it dies, and the opponent still has more creatures, the creatures attack you, not your next Armagio.)

Speaking of big fat creatures, the -new- Gravity’s dragon is almost the same, though both the upped and unupped have Momentum, and the up’s stats are 9/20. The dragons have to be unstoppable, not slow, lazy fat things!

Otyugh has almost completely changed, because its old ability has a real anti-synergy with its shield:

Graviton Firer Eater is still here, for the same reason it is here today. The reason? I have no idea. Though it slowly but steadily gains power, and actually fits better into the -new- Gravity than it did in the -old- one.

Titan is still here as well. Catapult is too.

Chimera no longer has Gravity Pull, and has 6hp for each creature. In -new- Gravity, it’s either rush or defence, not a mix of both, and Chimera is more rush. (Also, I’d get in trouble if I destroyed Instosis, so . . .)

And finally, a completely new card because I love you all so much, and if Zanz had made this version of Gravity, he’d love it so much it’d have gotten a new card last update. Magnetism focuses on the ‘strong defence’ side of the -new- Gravity, and is based on a very popular idea I have seen floating around the CIA. (By popular, I mean it is suggested a lot.)

There is no difference between Weak Poison and Strong Poison in Death.

Very interesting ideas, all of them. I think I like the fire one best. An unique take on fire, and it plays differently from any other element we have now.

there are 2 of them that i like for the most part, and a third that is not far behind. the remaining 2 I just don't see the thematic connections very well. I am being cryptic on purpose as not to offend anyone.

Fire is less element shifted and more expansion that has not been added yet.

Life I resulted in a card set that would fit a card set of lifeless Automatons. Reproduce acts like "build another" more than Reproduction. Life (IRL) is know for its capacity to continuously reproduce and spread to cover the globe.

Death is less element shifted and more expansion that has not been added yet.

I cannot judge Gravity because Otyughs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otyugh) were not respected.

Life II includes a Bird. It makes no excuse for having a bird. The bird does not have any Life skills. In other words it has an Air card. Otherwise it is less element shifted and more expansion that has not been added yet.

Fire was the closest to portraying a subtheme of Fire that was separate from the subtheme of Fire that EtG has.

A possible clarification although it might create misconceptions so beware.

A set can either be judged consistent or inconsistent with the Element.
A set can either be surprising or be similar to the existing set.

A shifted element is both Surprising and Consistent.
An expanded element is both Similar and Consistent.
Anything inconsistent is not the same Element.
