The entire post below the line is my submission.
I chose to make a more traditional flag. Flag design should be simple, with colours and composition of symbolic significance.
The blue field obviously denotes the ocean.
The jagged lighter blue represents the changing forms of water, simultaneously symbolizing waves, and ice. Ice especially as the majority is under the central line, with only the tip above. This is to conjure up the image of the tip of an iceberg.
The black line indicates the darker, more mysterious aspect of water. It symbolizes the abyss, and the huge amounts of the ocean that nobody has discovered. Except for me.
