Alright. Time to vote. I'll try to be as objective as I can.
1. I really like the drawing, but... It looks like a blanket, nailed to a flat surface from four corners rather than a flag. I mean, it is recognizable, but I wouldn't use blanket to lead an army.
2. The banner is a bit more simplified than it needs to be. Also, that bottom part kinda sticks out to me. Maybe, more logical would be to make it darker than the banner's frame.
3. I know that paint has its limitations, but there's way more you can do in there, than just different colored circles.
4. This one looks like it was made by a scum bag. Also, the birds are clearly in pain and should be put put of their misery.
5. There actually is russian artist called
Kazimir Malevich, that painted
black square and became famous. But that can only work out only once. =/
6. Looks good but is hardly a banner/flag/whatever. Also, wings are are crucial for Darkness mark.
7. I like it, but again, it doesn't look like an icon enough. =/ (Also, it could use gradient sky. I know it takes a painful while, but it'd make it worth it in this one)
8. Good thingy, I can see it being used in peaceful times, for example, in architecture as decorative thingy. Definetely not kinda icon you would take into the battle. I mean, it looks metallic, and a square plate of metal (or even worse, a cube with
on all sides of it) is gonna be heavy and inconvinient to carry.
9. It's good for a first pixelart. That being said, it's far underdetailed to be the winner, IMO. (Also, you forgot the little white dots on the entropy mark)
10. Good idea. Looks mobile, represents the element really well and just in general good piece of work. +1 point
11. Also one good piece of art. It is a banner, that you can use in both peaceful and and wartime. Good job +1 point.
12. I understand what the author tried to do. This flag was made in idea of real life country flags. Which is actually bringing it down. I mean c'mon, have you seen our flags? Most of them are just differen combinations or red, blue and white. And don't get me started on all those colorful crosses. They still get me confused from time to time. In general, wasn't a particularly good idea, which lead into a bad perfomance. =\
