The Elements exist all around us, in every form we can imagine. From Water and Fire to Gravity and Entropy, they are all in constant motion everywhere. It might take a keen eye to see it sometimes, but look hard enough and you can find the tiniest of Lights in the blackest Darkness. So take out your Sundial and pause the Earth for a second. What do you see?



Elements in Real Life is a photo competition to try and catch one(or more) of the 12 Elements in real life. You don't need some fancy camera to do it. Phone camera will work. Old Polaroid camera and a scanner, whatever works. You can try to copy a certain card, go for more of a raw Element picture(fire, water, earth, etc.), whatever you want pertaining and relating to Elements.

Rules and Requirements:

• The picture must be your own.
• All submission must be PMed to me, Kamietsu.
• You may have up to 2 submission.
• Absolutely no photoshop or image editing can be done to the photo(except resizing and cropping) So if you want to do Twin Universe, you better have a twin.
• There is no size limitation. I will personally resize all submission so they don't blow up the forum.
• Timestamped photos are not required. This will be based on the honor system that the image is indeed yours. You may use old pictures that you have taken yourself, though I would encourage taking a new picture.
• Any materials may be used in your photo. You can make something out of foam, or cardboard, or paper, whatever medium you choose(or none at all and just use nature)
• Humorous submissions are allowed as long as they show some sort of effort put into them. If you are unsure about it, just ask PM me with it and I'll let you know.

Phases:
Submission Phase: Contestants will submit their photo for the competition via PMing it to the Competition Organizer(Kamietsu) within the allotted time. Once the countdown timer has run out, the Submission Phase will end and the Next phase will begin.

Voting Phase: All submissions will be posted in the very first post. Everyone will be able to vote on their favorite submission. Winner will be decided based on number of votes when the poll closes.

I'm very disappointed that this competition didn't ever get to really see the light of day. There was one submission, which i will show here, that sadly has to win by default instead of getting to go through a poll. But it is a great submission and I am glad to have at least gotten one. With the poor turnout for this competition, without heavy support for it I will not be bringing this one back.

I don't think this required fancy cameras or photography skills.. my picture was taken with a phone camera, and I wasn't aiming for anything spectacular. But thanks Elbirn
