I suppose someones going to flame at me for being irresponsible in the first place, but:
can we get two cards next time?

My sincerest apologies to Jippy, Xdude has left the event.  This is an administration error on my end, enjoy your bye.

I would also like to apologize to gavsword and zyz1.  As you two had a 0-0, gavsword only earned one point, where zyz1 earned none.  When I randomized the list, there was a 4% chance of zyz1 being your opponent.  I didn't check against redundancies, and I should have.

I was going to try doing it, but it didn't work.  Besides, it's quite easy to see if you've already earned a card.  Simply count the number of non-other non-mono cards you have.  The relic is somewhat redundant, and because of it's location in the deck list, harder to see than just leaving it alone.  Either way, the relic was simply going to be a place holder to point out you hadn't learned a card yet, and would have been simple record keeping for my personal benefit.  The relics would have been removed at the start of round 2.  As far as getting two picks next round...

The rules say, and I quote, "you may "learn" one additional card,".  They do not say you must.  They do not say you may earn two.  As the rules are currently written, the answer is no.

You won your fight 0-0
He got a bye.

The difference:  He won due to my error.  You won due to your opponents.  Seeing as he didn't have an opponent, we assume he'd win 3-1, which is the average win ratio.  Seeing as you /did/ have an opponent, we know for a fact you won 0-0.
