I think i prefer the deck without pendulums. Chaos Lord only has two discords in his 100+ card deck and while an early discord hurts a lot, it is quite uncommon, not always fatal, and an early pendulum may not make a difference. The pulverizers are there mainly to eliminate the dissipation shields and deal enough damage before you deck out.
If we start with only a couple of pendulums for quanta generation, we will be left low on gravity quanta. Not getting an early oty or two is worse than not getting an early pulverizer (which we can usually have by turn four anyhow). Also we need ample

for pulverization
I'm working with an extremely small sample size, but i havent been stung by improved mutation yet. Someone with more experience then i have with the AI could comment about whether there is any sense in leaving CL with a ray of light or two.... perhaps it will target those rather than our otyughs with its improved mutations?
Thankfully they aren't unupped mutations :p. At least we will have something to show for it if he does. And with just 6 improved mutation in his deck at triple the size (but double draw), we are drawing 3 otyughs by the time he has two mutations (did i do the math right?), statistically speaking, and one oty is probably enough for control (providing the 'garbage collectors' can eat the fallen druids).
Thanks for your comments.
A couple other notes. I used to have some heavy armors in there, but they didn't seem needed. If you have a gravity nymph she might be a good fit.
