Are they supposed to be insectoids, reptilian, something else? Could go either way on those. If you go by the movie tremors then graboids are wormlike, and annelids are not arthropods. Seems it got burried shortly after being posted. I could use some feedback on balance, overall usefulness, etc.

Don't increase cost of ability when upped. Don't know if ability is too costly. Hard to splash this in a rainbow (which ability necessitates), cost is too high
Consider that ATK is more valuable than HP. Then the buff is worth less than Eclipse (which has in element synergy). Then the ability, priced as it is, is itself cost enough besides the cost of the permanent. This could cost 3|4 or 3|3

Useful in a death stalker deck in that having 5 copies of this doesn't make later copies a dead card

This would be more useful if "arthropod" was a passive ability. The problem being that then scarab would then have 3 passives and that wouldn't fit on the card. I think the cost is too expensive to be useful in anything but mono or at a push an duo. I personally think this is WAY to expensive. There currently no synergies between entropy and earth and there's no guarantee that you would get an arthropod you can play. I don't think the upped needs to cost 1 extra for the ability. The best use of the ability would be in a rainbow but the card cost is too high for that. Even the buffing shouldn't ramp up the cost that much. I'd say somewhere around 5  considering this affects more creatures that Nightfall | Eclipse.

Sounds good. I priced it high to start since it affects so many different elements, but I was erring way on the conservative side. I'll drop the cost to 4 for both upped and unupped and make the activation cost uniform.

New version is up, thanks for the feedback. Does this seem viable and balanced?

Well, it's quite a dilemma: bearing in mind that this card is an Earth one, graboids and shriekers would become almost invincible without a quanta barrier (there could be an OP mono deck).
