How about the upgraded dealing the same damage as the unupped, but making only our opponent able to play 2 cards? With a +1 quanta cost maybe.

By the way, in oEtG, I believe this weapon has an activated skill (with a cost) that resets the card counter.
That way its user ends up getting an effective 2 card per turn advantage over the opponent.

Yes, this was a buff from the original (which is the version dawn posted). It is still weak mainly because it still has anti-synergy with the rest of its element if you don't use the skill and / duos are a bit awkward)

With that ability it could be used in a time novabow maybe? Removes a lot of counter play against a rush?
