If so...

Say I have nine Z's in play at the end of my turn. Would that make them each 18/18 creatures for a total of 162 damage next turn?
and how whould you achieve that? turn 8 at least?

ok, so a slight nerf i would suggest is making its defence constant. like def 2/3/4 making it vulnerable to CC. And mebbe the reset ability should cost 2 to stall your fractal and stuff

I helped in getting the numbers for this card. I dont think its that OP. Could be OP tho, you have to test it first. Anyways the chance of getting 3 Z in the first 10 cards or so is pretty managable still. 3 Z would cost 9 and would be 6/6 (or 6/4 or something with the nerf) compared to two phase spiders its pretty much better unupped, upped it compares 18 attack vs 14 attack, 3 cards vs 2 cards, 9 quanta vs 8 quanta. This last case would be showing its about the same, but getting two recluse has a higher chance. So mebbe the unupped version should be nerfed with a way lower def like mebbe 1 or 2

Is this for version 1 or version 2? Also, about fractal...
Okay, so let's assume that the opponent has no form of CC and you have unlimited quanta. By 8 turns, most non-stall decks will have beaten you. Remember that many rush decks have an avg ttw of 5.

Fractal drains all your aether quanta per use. So, assuming you get impeccable draws and are able to play 8 out of the 18 aether towers from your starting hand, plus one from mark for 9 quanta per turn:

Starting turn. 8 :aether from playing towers.
Second turn. Draw and play one. 2 damage. (98)
Third turn. Fractal for 7 after discard. 2 damage. (96)
Fourth turn.  Play 3. 32 damage. (74)
Fifth turn. Play 3. 98 damage. (-24)

It has the same turns to win on an impossible draw as the average turns to win on destroyer rush.

I couldn't do the "cool letters" (like X, because it might have been mistaken as a variable) so I picked Z.

Lol, I just hope the mechanic isn't too complicated. I've very complicated mechanics explained WITHIN the character limit. ^^;;

It's OK, maybe... But I'd prefer it to be N|N, where N= number of Z's, period...
just to encourage playing them in tons, and making them more lasting, though
