NOTES:
When you send a creature or permanent forward in time, it disappears from the field. Exactly one turn later (when you are starting your next turn), it reappears on the field in the exact same state in which it was when you used Fast Forward on it.

This can be used as soft CC or PC, or be used to counter things like Shard of Sacrifice.

It didn't influence it nor was influenced by it; I didn't see the new version of that card. There are some significant differences between the two in that that card only affects creatures, makes it reappear as it was when summoned, has a different theme and implementation, etc.

Now, any feedback on the actual idea?

Son of a _.
I've been working for a few days on a spell version of something similar to this...
Better pump it out so a comparison can be made, /sigh.
I'll kill myself if I have another encounter like I did with Echo...

Reminds me of phasing from old Magic the Gathering. I like it.

Also, the phrasing "next turn" would signify the turn after the turn you use the ability; in other words, the caster's opponent's turn.  Do you mean this, or do you mean to have the creature/permanent reappear your next turn?  Just clarifying.  It could make A LOT of difference when applied to creatures (whether they would be in play to attack or not).

Exactly one turn later (when you are starting your next turn), it reappears on the field in the exact same state in which it was when you used Fast Forward on it.
A turn is generally taken to mean a full turn (of both you and your opponent).

Ah, sorry, I should have read that more carefully.  Yeah, I often thing of Elements with an MtG mentality.  In MtG, unlike Elements, a turn is only one persons turn.  My bad for the mix-up.  :)
