Just to be sure, it's each damage event, not each point of damage... right?  Otherwise would be +12/-6.... scary.

I was thinking the same thing, but the wording states that the ability is triggered once for every time damage is dealt to Walking Liger. Amount of damage is irrelevant, so Sniper will produce an additional +1/+0, as will Rage Potion, infection, and Fire Buckler.

great as a rainbow card with bloodsucker/toadfish for damage (1 per turn) and heals. Wait a sec. it's just a weak growth creature.

I'd leave it in mono-life just cause it's cheap and beastly.

I don't think it does, but I may well be wrong. If so, the upped version could be a tiny bit OP, but not quite so much likely. (The stats themselves could be a little OP as well, might suggest lowering it to 6/6 or 7/5 to justify the similarities with Archangel)

The unupped has a very nice synergy with Adrenaline.

Just a nitpick: unupped card has upped gradient. :) You tend to do that a lot.

As always, a great card. Unupped is balanced and fun while upped is fun with Infection. But, yeah, it's a bit overpowered. I'd actually increase its cost to 7 :life instead of decreasing stats, otherwise it would look weak in the face of its unupgraded counterpart and that's sort of pathetic.

It doesn't. The only reason Liquid Shadow removes abilities at all is because no creature can have more than one active skill at a time. That's why Phoenix doesn't turn to Ash after it is targeted by LS, and is why Otyugh becomes a silly 0|3 with vampire.

The question is whether Waking Liger's skill would be active or passive. I say that it should be active, and thus able to be lobotomized.

Yawning Liger's ability is passive.

Waking Liger's ability is active, and wouldn't trigger from Poison, which isn't really damage so much as it's 'loss of life', to use an M:tG distinction.  Thus, it's not actually OP. 8)
