Hey nice art. You made that yourself. :)

Hmm this is Pest loaded with attack already. Interesting.
Tasted the world, seen more than enough.

So it absorbs a random quanta?
What quanta does it give back to you?

And you should reword it "Absorbs quanta on successful attack"

Quanta is plural, isn't it? Quantum is singular, so I'll leave it as is.

Aside from that yeah, I agree with the rest of the wording and changed it.

I like your art!

This mechanic is pretty stale though considering pest. I don't understand how it fits with Life's theme either (except for the name of woodland...) The card is also not balanced yet. The ability plus the attack warrant a slightly higher cost. Probably the cost should be 3 and 4...

Welcome to CI&A!  You have good art skills. :)

In comparison to Ash Eater/Pest this might be a little strong. Fractal these guys and you can drain your opponent's quanta pretty quickly.

As stated before, does this card return random quanta to you or :life quanta?  Either way it should get a slight cost raise as wizelsnarf has suggested. Perhaps 3  :life | 3  :life ?

Okay so looks better.

Generally, we don't enumerate quanta if it is only singular. In other words, you can change your text from 1 :life to simply  :life.

Looking at the creature, no one would ever use the upped version because the skill is important not the stats. With this in mind you should probably lower the cost down to 3 :life and change it from 3|2 to either 2|2 or 3|1...

Or you could go the "Micro" (see abomination, phoenix) upgrade route and lower the upgraded stats to 1|1 with a cost of 2 :life.

How about if the upgraded version returned 2 :life?

I'm not sure how I feel about this being in life... Definetly feels like a darkness creature, but since they've already got pest I'd probably make it something like air, and name the passive skill something like "Flying Filcher" (okay nevermind that sounded a lot cooler in my head).

As I said, if you make the upgraded version cost 2, you need to lower the stats a lot - possibly to 1|1

No no, I meant the ability. If it gave the player 2 :life instead of just 1 :life as the standard version of the card does.
