Plants wither, but after I posted, I realized Adrenaline does somewhat the same thing.

affliction could be simplified as Delayed, Frozen, Poison, etc. (instead of guard/BB/procrastination which are all the same 'affliction')

I don't like the name of the cards. It makes it sound like a debuff instead of a buff/heal.  I thought the creature would rot away, like how poison would make a creature rot away.
cheers ^.^

Plants wither
The withering of living things is normally attributed to Death not Life.

Tis' true, but the withering of an affliction could be a good thing. Good > bad, Life > Death

Well, I wasn't going for these cards affecting poison status. I will edit notes when I have time. Rot would be creature killed.

well I think the problem with the description is that "Rot" and "Whither" and "Affliction" are not currently game terms in Elements.  You kind of just made them up for this.  So it seems really confusing as for what the card actually does.

What does it mean to "Rot away"? What does is mean to "Whither away"?

And what things are put into the category of an "Affliction"?

These are just questions that I think should eventually be answered or clarified.
Is the card a sort of creature purify?

Wither is on the card, as is Rot.
Afflictions are listed in notes. I don't believe this would be the first card to not be able to give a complete description on the cards.
"Withers away" is the wither effect. While rot is the killing part.
This is a quick one time spell for some spell effects on creatures.

Afflictions do not wither. Afflictions do not shrivel. Afflictions do not rot. These are specific verbs that have meanings applicable to plants that are not applicable to poison or other afflictions. The specific proper usage of these verbs gives these verbs the Death theme.

The reduction of an affliction would use another term. (Purify is taken by Water)

I agree, agree, agree. Thanks for feedback.
I suppose my eagerness to have an idea trumped the sensibility of the idea itself.

The eagerness is good. It will motivate you to give ideas the care they need to thrive. Picking which seed to grow is a skill you will learn as you reflect.

Treating an affliction has only a small benefit. It probably would be better if it were in a repeatable form.
