Really ?
I thought they are passive abilities with trigger
Anything listing under the Picture on the battlefield is an Active ability.
You can only have 1 Active ability regardless.
If it requires you to set the effect off, like paradox etc. Its and Activated Ability. Activated abilities have to be Active Abilities by default due to the mechanic of you clicking the creature.
If the ability requires no action on your behalf but occurs when the creature has its action or another effect occurs, it is a triggered ability.
Anything listed in the Info box under passive is a passive ability.
You can have 2 at this stage. They work by keyword reactions.
There have been requests to make triggered active abilities into passive abilities because they take up space, but in doing so, the game would change considerably. You could butterfly effect a Vulture and still have it scavenge per se.
How about:
"0) Learning: Gain target creatures Ability as a Passive ability. Activated abilities have no effect."
This would grab Bioluminesence and tack it into the creatures Passive ability list. When it does so it pushes the keywords along once so you lose the oldest passive ability if you copy another and already have 2 (o whatever the limit ends up becoming).
