We have crusaders and flying weapon already. Why is this card needed? Fractal weapons? The price (4 initial and 2|1 per turn for an animated weapon) is also way too pricey.

No offense meant, but given that an animated weapon turns itself into a creature, there's very little difference separating the two besides "starting form" and actual stats.

(It doesn't help that Flying Sword has only 3 votes which seems to imply it is heavily overlooked by users. )

yeah, the core idea of "make fractal flying weapons viable" is out there, i am personally not a fan of either of the concepts devoted to it, with this one even being worse than the other, as it essentially has the same concerns as mitosis flying weapons, maybe even worse.

Sorry, but I agree that this card is far too similar to Flying Sword. I like Flying Sword better too, as it is far more fitting, both thematically and practically. If you want to submit this to the Crucible you'll have to significantly alter the mechanic.

There was a debate many, many pages long on this issue in this thread (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,19732), which lead to Zanzarino making flying weapons unable to be targeted by Mitosis.
