Immaterial creatures cannot drown, so the only way to hurt them is via shields (assuming they're also not blessed with Momentum. >.>).

Am I the only one that has realized that you could essentially make this uncounterable fairly easily?
I mean cmon man! The shield itself is immaterial! That's a bit rediculous.
Rol/Hope at least has a weakness to mass CC. This? Shields are your only counter, bar the fact that you can have immaterial perms which are entirely untouchable.

Interesting. Possibly very OP, but I like the concept.
Perhaps adding an upkeep will help. Say a cost of 1 or 2  :time per immaterial creature / permenant each turn.
It fits your theme. Makes PC and QC a viable counter. And forces you to decide between income and protection.
Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?

This would work pretty well with Anubis, SoR, and Deja Vus.

The counter is that it takes a very long time to set up the shield.
This thing seemed dead inside. It seemed like an automaton, trying to act like as if it was alive. The effect was unsettling.
Orianna made a sound that supposed to a girl's squeal of glee and hugged The Ball. While it might have been touching, it was unfortunately only horrifying.

As it is, it blocks all damage- is it direct/physical damage only, or are bolt spells and other such things rendered useless as well?

I really meant for pillar stacks to only count as one card, since there is only one slot... I'll go add that.  Thanks for catching that :)
