Does the spawning happen only once when you play the water frog? I'm a bit confused with the two abilities.

When card is played from hand, the caster targets a creature square on the field to spawn the frog in. This also applies when using the Mitosis skill.

Hm, interesting...  Shouldn't the cost of the upgraded be 2 :water as well, to follow Mitosis?

That would probably make the most sense, but with Mutation having the ability to create creatures with 1 cost Mitosis, I wouldn't say it's required.

However, I don't believe the +1 Attack/HP warrants an increase in casting cost to 2 :water.
