Ability costs are also changed to Darkness, though they keep the same quanta cost. E.G. Put it on a Forest Sprite with mitosis, the forest sprite is now affected by Nightfall/Eclipse & its ability is now 2 Mitosis, which will generate a daughter creature (which is still Life as Mitosis replicates the original creature.) Holy Light will damage anything affected by Warp/Corrupt, as the element of that creature has become Darkness.

Why is the daughter creature also Darkness? The daughter creature is supposed to be the original creature.

E.G. Put it on a life creature, the life creature is now affected by Nightfall/Eclipse & its ability is now 2 Mitosis, which will generate a darkness daughter creature that is in turn affected by mitosis.

Why does the ability specifically cost 2 ? Does the card cause the ability to automatically cost 2 rather than what you also said before (that it only changes quanta type, not quanta cost)?

Also also, if you don't have suitable art, don't put in a copyrighted image. You don't have to have an image; if you have one that is allowed then use it, if not, then don't.

EDIT: I'm assuming this also will work alongside Holy Light? (you didn't mention it specifically, only Nightfall, so unsure on whether or not that Nightfall synergy was the only intended effect)

I had recalled that Mitosis is a 2-quanta ability when placed on a forest spirit, let me add that for clarification. If you put mitosis on a jade dragon then corrupted/warped it, mitosis would indeed cost 12 .

I specified royalty-free images in the search, and that one is posted on a commons board where any image uploaded to it can be used by the public.

Hply Light will indeed damage the creature. You could potentially use a light/dark deck and use that combo to effectively kill some stronger creatures or deny the opponents abilities.

Also, I misread the Mitosis ability, my bad. Thanks for pointing all of this out.

Seems like it needs a buff. Spending a card just to give one creature Eclipse buff is underpowered compared to Blessing.

I think the most interesting application here is with Holy Light, making it a 2-card 10-damage spell combo. Unupped I would say it is weaker than Freeze + Shockwave as it costs the same but won't kill all creatures, but upped it is arguably stronger, as it could be used in mono and only cost 1 quanta.

However, Freeze + Shockwave are both good CC without the combo, whereas Warp | Corrupt is not, so I still think it needs a buff. All copies of the creature (that are currently in play) have their elements changed?

Not useful.
Give me one reason I should use this on a card that I have to generate seperate quanta for anyways.

It wasn't that useful either, and it had an arguably stronger effect

I can think of several interesting uses (budget lobotomy, eclipse, changing ability costs to quanta you have) but none of them would really be worth spending an entire card from my deck.

My advice: consider changing this from a spell to a creature ability. Something like "Cult Leader" or "Dark Hypnotist"
