ART: Public Domain Image (http://www.public-domain-image.com/nature-landscapes-public-domain-images-pictures/) IDEA: Kaos. NOTES: "Hiding" works like Cloak's invisibility. Volcano inflicts 1 damage to your creatures because of the lava it erupts, but hides them with the clouds of ash it produces.

Fire creatures have high atk, and a (continous) "cloak" for them could be great, but they're weak, so this card seems to me balanced.^^

The only "dangerous" combo could be with Lava Destroyers, but the "hiding" mechanism doesn't make them immortal (plague, rain of fire, thunderstorm, unstable gas, shields etc etc)... and I also think that rush decks with lava golems often don't mind about opponent's CC, they simply fastly kill you. xD

I'm not quite sure if this would see much play, given the existence of Quintessence and the nature of rush decks. They are typically few creatures with very low hp, so this card would not only take away another card in a 30-card deck, but also would more often than not be played after your threats because of quantum constraints in an Immolation deck. Also, because of the existence of Nova and Immolation, Cloak would be easier to cast and wouldn't interfere with the quanta needed to cast creatures.

Uhm, I'm trying with a different idea...

What about making the card a duo card (volcano earth, eruption ability fire), and making it damage only the creatures on the bottom row?^^

I think that 1 damage isn't enough to really counterbalance the effect. 2 damage seems better.
Making it  / would be fine, but only affecting the bottom row makes it more situational

1 damage for fire creatures is dangerous. It's dragon is weak, as ash eater, fire spirit and phoenix (that would die and rebirth next turn). The only "combo" could be with lava golems.

I'm thinking about destroying one of your pillars, or something like that... Work in progress. xD

They only share the name lol, the idea is totally different.

That card is made for killing enemy creatures; mine is made for hiding yours (to avoid CC), and the damage is only an idea to balance it.

So no, I don't think it has been already made.^^

This could be a continuos Cloak, and doesn't need a duo fire/darkness.
