Bump.

I finally made art for this thing, but it's much, MUCH simpler than what I originally had in mind. I spent a few hours drawing and failing, then decided I'm too pissed off to continue. So I just said "screw this" and made something simple.

No, what I'm saying is, if your opponent has zero maximum HP, they technically have achieved elemental mastery, despite losing. How does that affect the rewards at the end and such?

EM double the rewards if and only if you win with EM.
Losing with EM is just like losing without EM.
Your opponent having EM when you win or lose will not affect your rewards/losses.

I had assumed EM had been changed to be a fixed amount.

I am not aware of such a change. I play Ai3 where it still is doubled rewards [19 for 99hp->40 for 100EM hp]
